I apologize for the lateness of the post. Today is a free-for-all which means any prompt in any fandom. Basically, anything goes today :)

Just remember the rules:

No more than 3 prompts per fandom
No more than 5 prompts in a row
No spoilers in prompts, period
If your fill contains spoilers, please warn and leave plenty of space

Make things easy for the codemonkeys:

Teen Wolf, Derek/Stiles, graduation night
Merlin, Arthur/Merlin, "Why is everyone looking at me like that?"
Suits, Harvey/Mike, tequila? never again
The Fast and the Furious, Dom/Brian, family

Sherlock BBC, Ensemble/Any/Gen, Sherlock watches Star Wars

Movie Night

"This is so incredibly dull."

John rolled his eyes as Sherlock voiced his opinion for at least the fifth time since the movie had started. "I can't believe you've never seen Star Wars," he said, "Mycroft, what kind of childhood did you two have?"

Mycroft had settled comfortably into John's chair. He still had not given a satisfactory explanation for why he was there in the first place, but he seemed to be enjoying the movie. "That's down to Sherlock, not our upbringing," he insisted, "I've seen all three."

"There are six," Mrs. Hudson corrected him. She had wandered in around the cantina scene with popcorn, and no one had complained when she never left.

"I beg to differ," said Lestrade, "There are only three that count." John had invited Lestrade over because he was the only one who owned the DVDs. Lestrade had brought Mycroft with him for some reason, mumbling something about having run into him on the street.

As the main cast escaped the Death Star in the Millenium Falcon, John mentioned, "I always wanted to be Luke Skywalker."

"Really?" said everyone almost in unison.

"Luke's a bit of a whiner, isn't he?" said Lestrade, "I prefer Han Solo."

"Obi-Wan Kenobi was always my favorite," said Mycroft whimsically.

"That Carrie Fisher is lovely," said Mrs. Hudson.

All four of them turned to look at Sherlock, who was huddled in his chair and very pointedly not watching the movie. After a few seconds of silence, he burst out, "You can't possibly expect me to have an opinion on the matter! I didn't even want to watch this. Why on earth would anyone choose to waste time on a fantasy world when there is so much we don't understand about our own?"

Everyone turned back to the movie with a sigh. A few seconds later, John started laughing quietly under his breath.

"What's so funny?" Sherlock demanded.

John hesitated only a second before answering, "You'd be C3PO."

I love this so much :D Awesome characterization, loced the light-hearted feel to it. plus the sly lestrade/mycroft? or if not that, then a great premise ploy anyway :)

Glad you liked it. And yes, definitely some Lestrade/Mycroft going on there. I don't know why I ship them; I don't think they've even shared a scene yet. But fandom has a way of assimilating me into all ships. :)

I love myself some sulking Sherlock. This is adorable.
Also, even I ship Lestrade/Mycroft for no reason whatsoever :).

Thanks! Glad you liked it. :D
If Lestrade and Mycroft don't have at least one scene together in season 3, I might cry.

It was a worthy prompt indeed! The last line was the very first thing I thought of when I saw the prompt. The rest of the fic was just leading up to it, to be honest. XD
