So, here we are. May 1st. Where has the year gone?
But, more importantly than that, it's Friday. Which can mean only one thing... It's time for FRIDAY FREE FOR ALL!!

Yup, you got it. Anything and everything goes. Any fandom, any pairing, any crossover, any prompt.

Just make sure to be nice to this codellama and her fellow codemonkeys by leaving your prompts in the proper format

For a single fandom: Fandom, Pairing, Prompt
Example: RPS, Chris/Steve, "I swear by my pretty floral bonnet, I will end you"

For a crossover: Fandom/Fandom, Pairing, Prompt
Example: The A-Team/Leverage, team centric, 'If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them, maybe you can hire...'

Don't forget that we have a lot of lonely prompts, so if you're not being inspired today, you can always adopt one of those

Opinion of which? Eliot savin' his ass (again, and after having kicked it no less), Nate being a bit of a drunk, or fallin out of the sky? ;)

What's sad is I don't think I've got any more of these saved. There's an Eliot&River one, but I hold the opposite opinion to the one she's asked for...

If she'd been more vague, maybe. But she pretty well spelled it out that she wants Eliot to be able to beat her in a fight because he can block her being a reader. I just don't see that happening. Readers are rare as fuck, and I don't see most of them training to be weapons like she has. She's a good as fighter on top, and yeah. If she wants to kick El's ass, ain't nothin' gonna stop her. Not that she'd want to, and not that he would. She brings a protective streak out in him...

That's the problem, I guess, Eliot and River have no reason to fight. Otherwise Eliot could just *think* that he can block her... no, doesn't fit either. Lonely Prompt I guess. *sigh*

Someone else will snag it I'm sure. I mean, it's a pretty image, Eliot and River sparring, covered in sweat and probably only half dressed. It's the part where Eliot has to be able to block her that goes against my personal canon for the crossover. :shrugs:

it's River! no way would he beat her - unless it was him thinking he'd beaten her and she just saw no reason to fight him and let him win so there was less blood....

I've already poked at him about it a while ago, and Eliot told me that if he were a Reader he'd be making a hell of a lot more money running an entirely different collection of scams. Also, he'd never be able to be anywhere near Nate. I'm not sure if that's because this version of Nate's a bit more depressed, or if it's because him and Nate would never leave their bunks...

That's the other problem though. River would never fight him on purpose, and Eliot would never try to hurt her. If somehow she got triggered/went crazy, he'd only try to restrain her...

he makes a good point... also, probably would never leave the bunk either. and Jayne would stand a chance of winning if Eliot was tired out!

(btw: the Daddy!Nate fic seems to be wanting to be in Nate's POV at the moment... *pokes bunny*)
