comment_ficCandy is very dandy indeed! But I’m sure we all know that Liquor is Quicker. It’s been done before, but who doesn’t like to see our boys and girls a little tipsy. And there’s nothing like a little alcohol to loosen lips, lower inhibitions, or excuse bad behavior. Will our favorite characters have to live with the consequences of their drunken actions? Or will they even remember what they did last night?

Teal'c/Vala

The voice to his right jerked Teal'c to wakefulness approximately half a second before he realised conscious wasn't necessarily the way his body wished him to be just right at the moment.
The concepts of sleep and dreaming were still relatively new to him but on the whole he had come to enjoy the luxury of this most human forms of recuperative behaviour.
Unfortunately recuperated was probably the least of the words he would currently apply to his physical and mental wellbeing.
The throaty purr to his right continued.
“I never realised Earth had such an INTERESTING range of intoxicating beverages.”
The slipping cogs in Teal'c's brain began to grind into gear, presenting him with an equally interesting range of extremely candid snapshots of his team-mates performing what they referred to as 'drinking games'.
Teal'c opted to keep his eyes closed and continue to maintain the appearance of sleep.
“I know you're awake. You've stopped snoring for the first time all night.” The voice opined cheerfully.
Only 140 years of strict Jaffa control, and the hangover from hell, enabled him to refrain from throttling her where she lay.
He gave in.
“Jaffa do NOT snore.”
Vala laughed and the sound echoed in a way that made Teal'c wonder if his eyeballs could spontaneously suicide by leaping out of their sockets. He decided to keep them shut, just to be on the safe side.
“Darling I hate to break this to you but you snore worse than a Venarian Ox.”
Teal'c allowed himself to feel affronted.
“I have always considered your quarters most commodious. Surely you must wish to return to them with all speed.” He opined courteously.
It was only when she snuggled into his side that Teal'c realised they were both naked.
“But it's so cold in my quarters and you're here and you're warm and I don't want to sleep in that big bed all by myself I don't like it. And besides ...” One lithe leg slid over Teal'c's in a manner that would have reduced lesser men to profanity, “I want to do it again.”
Jaffa are not, on the whole, given to panic.
Tea'lc decided to make an exception.
