Candy is very dandy indeed! But I’m sure we all know that Liquor is Quicker. It’s been done before, but who doesn’t like to see our boys and girls a little tipsy. And there’s nothing like a little alcohol to loosen lips, lower inhibitions, or excuse bad behavior. Will our favorite characters have to live with the consequences of their drunken actions? Or will they even remember what they did last night?
Please be kind to your magnificent codemonkeys and use the proper formatting for your prompts (the second is for crossovers).
Fandom, Pairing, Prompt
Fandom1/Fandom2, Pairing, Prompt
For example:
SG1, Jack/Daniel, a toast
Torchwood, Jack/Ianto, wine and roses
Remember not to post more than 5 prompts in a row, and please limit yourselves to 3 prompts per fandom per prompter. If a prompt is answered, you can prompt again later in the day.
Thirsty for more options? Give a Lonely Prompt a home.

Part Quarte (Four)
Date: 2009-05-13 10:57 pm (UTC)It’s been days since Logan watched Eliot walk away, but the dull ache in his chest keeps that particular memory crystal clear. There have been some pretty epic mistakes made in Logan’s life, some of which he actually remembers, but this might rank right up there at the top.
Eliot Spencer was his first real friend in this strange new life, the first person to be trusted enough to become a lover instead of a fling, and the first person to willingly hand over his heart without ever asking anything in return.
So how did Logan repay all of this? By giving in to the morbid curiosity of being with someone from his past.
Remy LeBeau had certainly had his hands on Logan before, no stranger could possibly know how to touch him just so and evoke the kind of response Logan had only associated with Eliot. But even though the sex had been phenomenal there was still this nagging voice in the back of Logan’s head telling him he was throwing away the best thing that ever happened to him.
Which is what lead to this moment, alone, and back on the balcony that started this whole mess, drinking whiskey and wishing for the millionth time it was possible for him to get drunk. But the Gods were not that kind.
“You shouldn’t drink alone you know.” Rogue’s soft southern voice brought Logan out of his reverie
“You shouldn’t sneak up on people who’ve already stabbed you through the chest.”
Rogue snorted, “Like anyone could sneak up on you!”
True. Animal instincts were just part of the package with Logan, and they caused as many problems as they solved.
“I just want to be left alone.”
“Nobody wants to be alone Logan, not really.” Rogue wrapped her covered arms around him, leaning her face carefully against the back of his shirt. “At the end of the day we all want someone to belong with.”
“I don’t belong anywhere.”
“That’s not true, you belong with Eliot and anyone with half a brain can see that.”
“It’s too late for that.” Logan shrugged, trying to dislodge her arms.
“It’s never too late for love.”
With her last piece of advice Rogue left Logan to his thoughts. When the hell did the little chit grow up anyway, and why the hell did she have to be right?
“It’s never too late for love.” Logan repeated to himself.
Here’s hoping.
((No more. NO. Nah-uh even. NO. Final answer. Not gonna. you can't make me.))

Date: 2009-05-13 11:01 pm (UTC)You know... I probably wouldn't have left another prompt.
Except you leave that parenthetical statement like a challenge and it makes my fingers itch....
I tried. (Except for how I kinda didn't. Ooops?) See page six. :blows you kisses:
