Wednesday: Liquor is Quicker

Candy is very dandy indeed! But I’m sure we all know that Liquor is Quicker. It’s been done before, but who doesn’t like to see our boys and girls a little tipsy. And there’s nothing like a little alcohol to loosen lips, lower inhibitions, or excuse bad behavior. Will our favorite characters have to live with the consequences of their drunken actions? Or will they even remember what they did last night?

Please be kind to your magnificent codemonkeys and use the proper formatting for your prompts (the second is for crossovers).

I had an idea for this but apparently never wrote it

"Just be patient. You're worse than a kid at Christmas," John growled. Bobby made a face at him and fidgeted. "You're not even going to be able to drink all these. Nobody can drink this much and live. Much less someone who hasn't had a drop of alcohol his entire life and weights a solid one fifty. You're going down after two. I have money down on it." He poured out two more shots and spun the bottle around his hands.

Bobby watched, entranced at the glittering glass in the candlelight. John put the first bottle down and lifted another, arching it behind his back and flipping it over. He poured out the booze into more shot glasses, laid out in a row on the table before Bobby. "Can I drink them yet?" Bobby asked eagerly.

"No. I'd say cool it but I think that would be a bit redundant. I'm putting on a show here, you could at least pretend to be interested in me and not the booze." John snapped his fingers and a lick of flame ignited. He waved it back and forth in front of Bobby's eyes to make sure he had the man's attention. "Now, for the big birthday blow out." John touched his finger to the end of the line of shots, and blue fire shot down the line.

Bobby gasped in delight. John carefully lifted one of the glasses and held it out to Bobby. The iceman looked at it warily. "Fire hurts, yea?" he pointed out. John rolled his eyes.

"Do you want your booze or not? Two shots, remember?" John waggled the glass. Bobby snatched the glass from his hand. He made an ice barrier and knocked it back. He grimaced and put the glass carefully down on the table.

"What was in that one?"

"Vodka," John said, grinning. Oh yea. He was definitely going down in two shots.
