Good morning! I'm carinascott and today's theme is TOO LATE. Oversleeping and arriving late to work, missing a date, or working up to tell the one you love exactly how you feel, only to find that they've moved on to someone new. Its your choice.

And the rules are still the same:

Torchwood...the angst is back.

"Smile! You can't back out now," Owen said with a low hiss into Ianto's ear. The tone was menacing and made the Welshman shiver. "Or you could and you'd be retconned into insanity. You'd be nothing more than a blubbering drooling pile of waste."

"I should shoot you again but a lot lower this time," Ianto shoved the medic so her could regain his personal space again. He needed time to think. A lot of time. Ianto had no idea what to do. He had come to terms with Jack's second departure, especially when it stretched into its fourth month.

The team began to believe that Jack's departure was permanent and everyone agreed that Ianto was best suited to take over since no one knew how to run Torchwood better than him. Owen, course had made crude comments about working under Jack for so long. Ianto reluctantly accepted the position and really had come into his own the last month.

That all changed the moment Jack strolled into the Hub almost seven months to the day and to the biggest shock everyone; looking very round and in labour.

"Oh. I can so back out. Don't forget I'm the one in charge and in control of the Retcon," Ianto said with a icy smirk as he spun on his heel and headed to the cog door. Sometimes it was too little too late to fix what was broken.
