Glee/Teen Wolf (TV), Derek/Stiles & Kurt/Blaine, Burt Hummel and Sheriff Stilinski are brothers-in-law; every year, they talk on their deceased wives’ birthdays and recently it’s been about their sons’ first boyfriends
Once Upon A Time, Jefferson+Grace, Post season 1 (curse is broken). Jefferson and Grace have been reunited. Now they have to make up for lost time and mending the bonds.
She slides into place behind him on his bike like she's meant to be there. Her legs lean against his, matching his muscular curves perfectly, and her arms wrap around him without thought. It's only after they're flying down the road, the machine roaring between their legs, that she realizes what a mistake this was. She only wanted one more trip down the road on a magnificent motorcycle, but this isn't right.
This isn't the man with whom she's supposed to be, and Ororo realizes, as tears flood her eyes and the blue sky suddenly darkens to black, that the only reason why she really wanted to mount a bike again was because she missed the days when she used to ride with Wolverine. She misses those rides not because of the bike or the wildness within her to which it called or the greasy foods in the places Logan would stop or even the adventures they shared together on his bike. She misses the motorcycle, because she misses its rider. She craves motorcycles, because she needs the first man she knew who really loved the metal beasts.
Thunder rumbles as Nathan and Ororo continue their ride together. Her gentle hands delicately, and for the first time uncertainly, touch his chest. Her face presses close against his back, and as lightning streaks across a sky that had once, just scant minutes before, been perfect, he knows she's crying.
He knows she's crying, and he almost cries himself. He thinks for a moment that he should hunt down that Wolverine and beat some sense into the bastard until he comes back to the wonderful woman who loves him. The man's an idiot, Nathan knows, to have thrown away such a treasure as Ororo. It's hard to find love and even harder to find a woman so brave, bright, powerful, and true.
Suddenly, Ororo's not the only one with tears in her eyes. He tells himself it's the drops of rain that have began to fall from the darkened sky but knows it's not even as he hardens his eyes and stops his own tears from falling. The rain continues pelting in his heart, though, as he thinks of his own Domino. He guns the motor, and they speed even faster down the road of life.
Psych/Sons of Anarchy. While on a road trip, Shawn runs into a group of outlaw bikers. They don't think much of his motorcycle, but they do find his crime solving skills extremely helpful.
Kronos never does get around to releasing his manufactured pestilence before civilisation starts to crumble all on its own. There are simply too many people, and no new planet has been colonised like they used to dream. It has been millennia since the Horsemen, millennia of technological advances, but humanity hasn't changed, not really.
It's all very well to speak of basic rights and universal morality while they aren't struggling to survive, but once they are...
It all comes falling down.
Kronos remembers his brothers; Methos and Caspian and Silas. It has been far too long, they're probably dead after all this time, and now more than ever he misses them.
Then Methos is there. He stands with his face tilted to the stars, and when he looks at Kronos, Death is in his eyes.
"Come and see," he says.
Kronos laughs and laughs and laughs.
"I thought I was the end of time," he says. "But they are, aren't they? And they don't even realise it."
Methos smiles approval, the teacher whose student has finally learnt a difficult lesson. "Bright boy."
"I could have been the end of time," Kronos adds, because he came so close, and he would hate for Methos to miss that.
"Yes," says Methos, so matter-of-fact, nothing of doubt.
Kronos has not felt delight quite like this in far too long. Even before Methos left, he had ceased to feel like this.
Perhaps, then, Methos was... not right to leave as he did - that cannot, must not, be so - but perhaps Kronos can accept his brother's reasons.
Methos steps close to Kronos, lays his hand on the younger Immortal's arm. He murmurs, low and intimate, "I can bring you Silas and Caspian."
Kronos grins, feral like a starved wolf about to feast.
~
"We ride?" says Silas.
"We ride," says Methos.
~
Caspian laughs and kills and eats. Throughout it, Methos smiles and says nothing at all.
