It's Friday! Welcome back. I'm argentum_ls and I've been having a great week reading all the creative prompts. For my last day, we're going to go out with my favorite genre: gen. I know the definition of gen is pretty contentious, so go with whatever one you're most comfortable with. Prompts can focus on anything except pairings (though background pairings more perfectly fine in my definition).

The rules still haven't changed:

No more than five prompts in a row.

No more than three prompts in the same fandom.

No spoilers in prompts.

If your fill contains spoilers, warn and leave plenty of space.

It wasn't like they made it easy, was it? I mean, really, sometimes it was just ridiculous. Oh, Connor wasn't so bad--despite what some thought of him (and had better think it silently, if they knew what was good for them)--at least he didn't go wandering off looking for trouble. Well, not usually, anyway. And when he did, Becker and Danny had a pretty good handle on dealing with it. Connor wasn't thrilled with that handle, but it worked. And Sarah generally preferred the academic side of things, which made her a lot less work.

No, really, the problem was Abby. She was so smart, but she could be so stupid sometimes. She hadn't even figured out that Becker only called her Abigail when he was really at the end of his patience with her; if she had any idea what he'd considered doing in those moments... he'd probably find himself on his bum. And he was fairly certain that Danny had had similar thoughts. They'd both hired on to work a job; neither had read anything in the fine print about becoming anyone's babysitter. Or big brother.

Ah, well, at least he knew there was always someone he could... not talk to about it all.
