Date: 2013-04-27 03:54 pm (UTC)“Yes, Ed, of course I will marry you!” She said, and there was no turning back now. But she knew she didn’t need to turn back; she won’t regret this, ever. She smiled as he took her in his arms, holding her close, and whispering, “I love you.”

Fill: Phineas and Ferb, Linda
Date: 2013-04-25 10:54 pm (UTC)She suddenly remembered Candace laughing as she mentioned one of her classmates the day before, and that made her reach for the phone and the second grade parents' phone number list.
"Hello, Doctor Hirano, this is Linda Flynn, and I was wondering if you'd be interested in setting up a play date for our daughters..."

Date: 2013-04-25 07:27 pm (UTC)"Do you regret it?", he hears Methos (or Death, Duncan isn't entirely sure) ask.
Duncan shrugs, thinks about the years he has spent with his friend and smiles. Even counting his impending demise the good will outweight the bad, so the answer is and always be No.

Into the Woods// Cinderella/Charming // PG
Date: 2013-04-26 04:47 am (UTC)Now a giant was rampaging through the kingdom, flattening houses and killing people, spreading fear, causing damage, and here they had gone into the woods to find a way to defeat the creature that had come down Jack's beanstalk, seeking revenge. Perhaps the giant's motives were more understandable, easier to comprehend, but they were no less damaging or destructive than those of the man she had married, albeit causing a different kind of destruction.
Which was the man and which the monster....

Date: 2013-04-25 07:51 pm (UTC)Steve burns with dangerous and volatile anger, when he pictures Nick Fury on the other end of the camera lens and clenches his still bloody fist that has pounded into the directors body earlier. He makes an impolite gesture towards the camera and vanishes with the intend to prove S.H.I.E.L.D. that he can still avoid them, if he wishes.
One of the few perks of being Captain America is that he knows how to outsmart the system since he served long enough to know it by heart.

Date: 2013-04-25 02:47 pm (UTC)Falling, Jack/Nathan (Eureka)
Date: 2013-04-25 06:03 pm (UTC)His sweat and the smooth steel and the next shock wave combined forces against him in one brief instant.
Nathan was falling, and he didn't like what he would meet at the bottom.
Before he could close his eyes, he heard a crash and felt another but stronger jolt; there was pain, but he was strangely still in the air.
He almost told Carter off for taking too long or for nearly ripping his arm out of its socket, but instead Nathan looked up and offered an honest smile, which he was inwardly pleased to see mirrored on the sheriff's face after there was a solid surface beneath both of them.
(Oh how I miss Carter and Stark. ♥ I own s1 and s2 and stopped watching somewhere in s4, but I plan to finish the series someday.)

Date: 2013-04-26 05:00 pm (UTC)"I don't understand why," says the kid, "he just... turned the gun on himself; all Dr. Reid did was talk to him..."
None of them say anything, but J.J. knows what happened (Spencer barely bats an eye as they debrief the case back in DC... Meisbecker's first and fifth victims looked an awful lot like a certain, deceased geneticist); they all do, but then, they've seen this before.
"The profile isn't always exact," J.J. says - thinking, 'But we are', and lets the secret lie for all of them.

Date: 2013-04-25 02:47 pm (UTC)Fill: Mapmakers, Audrey/Duke/Nathan
Date: 2013-04-25 08:59 pm (UTC)“Why exactly would that help?” Nathan mutters, taking a deep breath to focus on what he has left – the smell of the sea, and Audrey’s hand tight in his as a safety rope.
Audrey says that Duke is right behind them, holding onto Nathan’s wrist, and Nathan has no reason to disbelieve her, but he still twists back to catch even the sound of Duke’s breath or the smell of his aftershave.
“Because you might stop hurting your eyes trying to see out.” Duke’s voice makes Nathan jump, enough that he suspects he hits his head, because there’s a sudden huff of laughter and Duke whispering, “not that you’d notice, are you trying to give yourself concussion, Nate, seriously?” and that’s what he has then: Audrey’s fingers twined through his and Duke’s voice rumbling over his shoulder, back and forth with Audrey, mapping out a landscape he can make sense of.

Date: 2013-04-26 05:35 pm (UTC)Well, that's not precise... he suspects, but for him, suspecting is basically knowing (he isn't being presumptuous, this is merely fact); Will suspects, and he's actually rather horrified that he is the only one, for Will cannot see Lecter's quiet perception, his carefully measured applications of compassion, as anything but the doctor being purposefully ironic. Lecter does not observe, he calculates; he feels only that which he allows himself or desires to feel.
Will tells himself that he is waiting - Lecter's patient mongoose - waiting for evidence that will paint his knowing and make it less perceptible as paranoia or, worse, some kind of kinship.
But, honestly, Will is probably more akin to Hannibal than he can ever comfortably admit; he is less concerned with proof, in his silence, than in curiousity, and in the simple, selfish thought ('They should know better) that if they feared his gift so much that they felt the need to assign Lecter as his keeper...
Then let them discover the serpent they've invited into their nest without Will; for their ignorance, they deserve his patience.

Date: 2013-04-26 01:08 pm (UTC)Still, when Neal sets a fancy plate down in front of him, and Clinton's smirk freezes (the spread Neal's prepared looks more like something you get at a guy's grandmother's house than at a fancy restaurant) it is undeniably something more than the food and the wine that warms him.
"I hope this is okay; I could have done something more elegant... something classical, but I thought-"
Clinton tugs on Neal's wrist until he falls into Clinton's lap, chuckling, and swallows his questions with a kiss; "I'm glad you didn't," Clinton says honestly, and he knows, before he's even tasted it, that this is one of the finest meals that anyone has ever made for him.
