Monday: Rare Pairs
May. 13th, 2013 12:18 amHello, everyone. I’m
ivotedforsaxon and today's theme is Rare Pairs. Give a little love to some of the more overlooked pairings.
The rules still haven't changed:
No more than five prompts in a row.
No more than three prompts in the same fandom.
No spoilers in prompts.
If your fill contains spoilers, warn and leave plenty of space.
Prompts should be formatted as follows:
Fandom, Character+/Character, Prompt
Some examples to get the ball rolling...
+ Skyfall, Silva/Q, "I thought you were supposed to be dead."
+ Revolution, Charlie/Nora, learning the basics.
+ Teen Wolf, Peter/Issac, he's not afraid of him for some reason.
Not feeling any of today’s prompts? Visit the lonely prompt archive and brighten someone’s day.
Have fun!

She smiled. "Thank you," she said.
Casey grunted and went back to looking over the files they were studying. Sarah waited for him to say something else.
He didn't.
"You know it's Valentine's Day," she finally said. "I'm pretty sure that makes this a Valentine's present."
Casey looked up, realizing suddenly that he was probably failing to perform some standard romance move that a woman had every right to expect.
"Yeah," Casey said, weakly.
She smiled again, wider, and leaned over to kiss him on the cheek, and he savored the closeness: perfume and soft hair and safety.
"I love it," she told him then, and started to take apart her brand new, top of the line rifle; she couldn't ask for a better gift than one that came straight from the heart.

She is mortal, weak. He can feel her frailty from where he stands. And her curiosity. His own is piqued, marginally.
But she could be useful, he decides, and interesting. He crosses the street, ignoring the oncoming traffic and flicking a hand in a vague gesture, and the beginnings of a pile-up begin as a car suddenly flips onto its side. With an entirely casual air, he takes a seat at the cafe table across from her.
"Nice," she says with a nod towards his handiwork.
"Child's play," he says, shrugs.
She leans forward, eagerness lighting up her eyes.
"Bet I can do you one better," she says with a snap of her fingers and a spark.
She points up. He looks and laughs. The flying fortress that has been following his activity for sometimes is plummeting at an incredible rate towards the river. He glances back at her, still smiling, holds out his hand.
"Shall we continue the game?" he asks.
In her eyes is an answer before she even moves to take his hand. The sirens just begin to reach his ears before his hand closes over hers, and a word drops from his lips, and they're gone.
