Monday: At the Races

hobnailedboots and I'm very excited to be hosting comment-fic this week. Today's theme is 'At the Races', which can be interpreted as widely or as narrowly as you wish! When I'm not at uni, I can normally be found working in a bookmaker's, and I'm often struck by how prompt-like the horse's names are. If you're interested in using horse names as a prompt, this page may be useful, as it is an index of runners in today's UK races (and you may filter the results to include US and other races). If you do want to use a horse's name to prompt, putting it in italics would be a good idea.
Aside from that, there are many other ways to use this theme! Is a character racing towards a goal? Is there rivalry between one character and another? Are characters watching a competition of some sort? But hey, hold your horses! First, the rules:
No more than five prompts in a row.
No more than three prompts in the same fandom.
No spoilers in prompts.
If your fill contains spoilers, warn and leave plenty of space.
Prompts should be formatted as follows:
Fandom, Character+/Character, Prompt
e.g.
--Supernatural, Team Free Will, drag racing
--Merlin, Arthur/Merlin, jockey AU
--Hannibal, Hannibal Lecter, thoroughbred

She shrugged, looking slightly embarrassed.
"Don't tell Gibbs," she murmured.
"He told me not to get into this."
"So, why did you do it? You know, it's not very rational to get involved in a case that much."
Abby shrugged.
"But I had to. His name is Goth Baby. And he has to win!"
...
Next day in the NCIS headquarter. The door opened, Abby rushed into the room, ignoring Gibbs and Ziva whose eyes were following her irritated. She stopped in front of Tony's desk, almost jumped at him, kissed him on his cheek.
"2500 dollars," she whispered into his ear.
Then she turned around to Gibbs, still a sappy grin on her face.
"I guess I've just solved the case."
