MCU, Tony (+ any), he hacks his own twitter account

Fill: Twitter Hack (1/2)

Bruce had grown pretty good at blocking out the sounds in the lab, especially now that Tony was back in New York--the other man liked to keep a running commentary of what he was doing whenever Bruce was in the room--but he’d also spent years learning to tune into any signs of danger so he slowly became aware that Tony’s mutterings were registering just as that in his subconscious.

“I can’t believe they--does no one know the definition of ‘secure’ anymore? What were they thinking? Leaving this open to anyone with a keyboard and an internet connection.”

“You aren’t hacking into S.H.I.E.L.D servers again, are you? I thought Natasha told you what would happen the next time you did that.”

“Natasha doesn’t scare me,” Tony lied through his teeth.

It would make for a very uncomfortable meeting, the next time the six of them tried to remember they were a team, but Bruce wasn’t sure how to point this out before Tony cleared his throat and continued.

“But no, this has nothing to do with S.H.I.E.L.D. It’s Twitter.”

“Twitter?” Bruce repeated, not sure he’d understood right.

“You know, 140 characters, home of tweets, 2009 word of the year, which, yeah, I know, is years ago now, but that just means even you hiding away in Timbuktu or Tristan du Cunha or wherever should have heard of it by now.

Bruce took off his glasses and cleaned them on the hem of his shirt. He wasn’t sure he wanted the answer, but he was equally sure now that he’d engaged Tony he wasn’t going to get back to work until he’d asked. “I’ve heard of Twitter, Tony. But why are you hacking into it?--or why are you upset that it’s so easy to hack into it?”

“It shouldn’t be so easy to break through their security. And stop saying ‘hack’. You and Rhodey… wait, you haven’t met Rhodey. You need to meet Rhodey. He’s great. Colonel. Saved the president, which you would already know if you could stay awake longer than a koala. Doesn’t have great taste in names, I mean War Machine isn’t so bad but can you imagine not objecting to Iron Patriot?”

Bruce breathed in. Tony was one of the smartest men Bruce knew and he never remembered that someone might take it the wrong way that he wanted to introduce them to the military that had spent years tracking him across four continents.

“Tony,” he said, slowly and deliberately because he hoped that might make Tony concentrate on the question he was really asking, “Why are you trying to…” Bruce hesitated, because Tony had an objection to the word ‘hack’ that would likely derail the conversation again--”What made you, uh, test Twitter’s security?”

“Pep’s away,” said Tony, “and when I called her all she did was shout in my ear that it’s four in the morning, or something, and that she’s jetlagged.”

“You promised not to bother her for anything less than a world-class emergency,” Bruce reminded him. He’d been in the room when Pepper and Tony had argued over what constituted a world-class emergency and he doubted this, whatever this was, would have made the list.

“J.A.R.V.I.S. said something like that, too, when I asked him to call her.”

“So you ignored both of them because…” Bruce trailed off and shrugged. He knew Tony would complete the sentence.

“Because I have something very important that I have to tweet and Pepper keeps track of my passwords.”

“You called Pepper even though it’s three a.m. in Shanghai because you forgot your password?” Bruce knew his voice sounded strained. Tony wouldn’t care. It was almost nice, having someone who knew not spend all his time waiting for Bruce to explode. Almost nice. He did have to deal with Tony in general in return.

“Couldn’t your-- your tweet wait?” Bruce couldn’t resist asking.

Tony swirled around in his chair so that he was facing Bruce. “I have lots to say to the world. It’s important.”

“Please tell me the thing that was so important doesn’t have the punchline ‘for science’. Or ‘vodka’,” Bruce muttered. Tony tended to make his favourite memes known to all who would listen and many who wouldn’t.

Without even turning around to look at his keyboard, Tony pressed a button. Bruce’s computer beeped in response. It really shouldn’t have, but Bruce couldn’t find it in him to be surprised that Tony’s twitter feed and its latest masterpiece popped up on his screen. Bruce read it. At this point, he wasn’t sure he had a choice. In Tony’s defence, it had nothing to do with science and only minimal reference to alcohol. And the link, when it opened, did have a puppy with the cutest case of vertigo imaginable.

Bruce took off his glasses again, this time to press the bridge of his nose. “You know there’s a ‘forgot your password’ option for that? You don’t have to resort to hacking just because Pepper’s out of the country?”

Tony hesitated just long enough for Bruce to discount everything he said. “It’s funner this way.”

“Is it? Are you sure you just didn’t know about it?” asked Bruce.

Tony changed the subject, but the answer had already been obvious. “You should be more worried about this. It’s your privacy I’m worried about, too. You wouldn’t want someone using your account and impersonating you, would you?”

“I don’t have a Twitter account,” Bruce said. “I don’t have to worry about someone impersonating me.”

“Uh huh.” Tony might have agreed, but there was enough of a smile at the corner of his lips to make Bruce worry.

“Tony?” Bruce should have dropped it, but instead he found himself prompting his friend to explain.

“I’m just saying your big green alter ego really likes the short format.”

Bruce tried to hold out, but he always had been too curious for his own good. Luckily, Tony had anticipated this and did something that he, for some reason, didn’t want to call hacking. The page was up on Bruce’s computer by the time he broke his staring contest with Tony and with a sinking heart, and a rapidly expanding headache, Bruce settled in to read what gems the Hulk decided to share with the world.

He’d had such high hopes about being productive today, too.

Jack Harkness: Porn Star

Date: 2013-09-03 11:37 pm (UTC)

Title: Jack Harkness: Porn Star

"How is that even possible?" Tosh twisted her in several directions as he tried to figure out how Jack had bent himself into a position so that he was able to give himself a blow job and playing it up to the camera. The better question was how the clip got onto You Tube in the first place as a time stamp said the video was recorded less than a week ago, which was conveniently when Ianto was in London on UNIT business.

"What are you looking at, Tosh?" Gwen wondered what had her colleague almost entranced.

"Nothing," Tosh tried to hide the video but it was too late and Gwen gasped when she saw what Jack was doing.

"How can he do that?" Gwen was stumped as she tried make sense of the video. "Damn Jack's really flexible." Her gaze shifted toward the closed office door and her cheeks turned an impressive shade of red. "Ianto's a lucky man."

Both woman giggled and turned away when a flustered Ianto exited Jack's office, fixing his hair and straightening his tie.

With a few buttons pressed, the erotic video was deleted from the Internet for good. It was a week before Gwen or Tosh could look at Jack without blushing.

The next video showed up two months later and this time Jack covered himself with liquid latex and slowly and methodically jerked off ending with pearlescent streams of come coating the camera lens. The animalistic moans elicited from the immortal captain was enough to push Tosh over the edge as she fingered herself to a climax that left the woman unable to walk for twenty minutes.

Again like the first video, Tosh made it disappear and she avoided Jack for another week.

The third video followed three months later and was the raunchiest yet and involved pole dancing, whipping cream, cherries, chocolate sauce, a ball gag and a paddle. There are some images of your boss, not matter how attractive he is, that you never want to be burned into your mind. It was one image Tosh would never forget.

This video quickly vanished to never be seen again.

It was another four months before Tosh found another video. This time Jack was laying naked in front of a fire on a sheepskin rug, reading very graphic porn in a seductive voice.

Tosh began to question Jack's sanity and was about to bring it up to Ianto when she realised that Ianto was the key to it all. Each time a video had been posted, Ianto was away from Cardiff on UNIT business and it made sense that the videos had been intended for Ianto's eyes only. It was the couple's way to make their separation less lonely. It made her wonder if there were videos from Ianto as well, but Tosh doubted she would be able to find them because Ianto was good at covering his tracks like that. There was a part of Tosh that fantasied that Ianto's videos were steamy as Jack's.

The next morning there was a discreet note left on Jack's desk: Be careful when you send your videos to Ianto. He's not the only one who can see them.

"Things Best Left Unread"

Timothy McGee stepped off the elevator and entered the bullpen, noticing Tony had not yet arrived to work. Ziva was already at her desk, however, busy reading her e-mail or whatever else she did first thing in the morning.

McGee was finished up his own e-mail check when Tony showed up, looking pretty worse for wear, as if he hadn’t had much sleep. Frankly, Tim didn’t want to know what had kept the senior agent up most of the night, so he simply said, “Good morning Tony,” and went back to his computer.

There was no witty banter following Tim’s greeting as Tony plopped into his chair, which surprised him. Tim turned back to Tony, about to ask him what was wrong, but he gave him an odd look that killed the question before he had a chance to open his mouth. Gibbs arrived a few seconds later and Tim did his best to look busy, Tony’s behavior quickly forgotten.

Two hours later, however, Tim was nearly fed up with Tony, who had continued to give him strange looks off and on throughout the morning, appearing as if he desperately wanted to ask Tim a question but couldn’t build up the nerve.

It was only after Gibbs and Ziva left the bullpen to discuss with Abby one last evidence report to finalize the paperwork for their latest closed case, that Tim decided he couldn’t take it anymore.

“What?” Tim nearly yelled.

Tony jumped, pretending to do something on his computer. “Huh?”

“You’ve been giving me looks all morning. What is your problem?”

Tony looked almost chagrined at being caught. After a few silent moments, he asked quietly, “Have you ever heard of fanfiction?”

Of all the questions he’d expected from Tony, this had to be near the very bottom of the list, right next to “Can you give me relationship advice?” It took him a bit to regain his bearings, but then a sinking feeling took him. Oh no, he didn’t. He couldn’t have. Tim gave Tony another glance and he knew he had.

Oh crap.

“Tell me you didn’t spend half the night reading Deep Six fanfiction,” he said at last.

By Tony’s expression, he knew he’d nailed it.

Oh crap.

“I was just curious what people thought of Tommy, since you did base him entirely on me,” Tony said defensively. “Then I saw a link for Fanfiction.net and there were all these stories people had written. Isn’t that against copyright protection?”

“Most authors don’t care,” Tim explained. “It’s a way to let the fans express their own imaginations. A few people have put their foot down about it, but it usually ends up hurting their reputation with their fans.”

“It’s still weird,” Tony said. “It’s one thing to have you writing about us. It’s another for complete strangers to do it.”

“But they don’t know that the characters are based on you guys,” Tim said. “Frankly, I never thought the Deep Six books would ever be popular enough to have people write fanfiction for them. It’s actually kind of flattering.”

“Flattering?” Tony sounded surprised. “Have you actually read this stuff? They have me...I mean Tommy sleeping with everybody. He and Lisa are together in the books, so I can understand that. But me and you? Me and Gibbs? There’s a ton of those. A ton! Even Abby and Vance!”

Tim had read quite a few of the stories posted on Fanfiction.net and other places himself, if only out of curiosity. McGregor had played the rounds in a lot of them as well. He knew from experience--he thought briefly of the rather large collection of X-Files fanfiction still sitting in a protected folder on his home computer--that whatever the fandom, pretty much every character would get paired with everyone else sooner or later. He did have to admit that it was a bit odd reading it when he’d based the Deep Six characters so closely on his friends. He’d been especially not happy seeing stories about Amy with anyone other than McGregor, but that was a discussion he was not going to have with Tony.

“Look on the bright side, Tibbs is the only one who has more stories written about him than Tommy,” Tim said, trying to pacify his friend. “That shows he’s a popular character that people care about.”

Tony look thoughtful and then gave a slight nod. “That’s true.” He nodded again. “At least I never got paired with Jimmy. No offense to the autopsy gremlin, but that’s where I have to draw the line.”

Tim thought for a moment whether or not tell him, but Tony must have seen the look on his face.

“What?” he asked suspciously.

“Well, I did see this one story where the two of your were...well...together, sort of.”

“But didn’t you make him a necrophiliac in the books?”

“Yeah…you...I mean Tommy…was killed on assignment...and...well…Pimmy...he did the autopsy. And well…”

“Just stop,” Tony said, cutting him off. “No more explanation. Please.”

“Stopping now,” Tim offered with a nod.

“Thank you.”

Tim thought the conversation was done and he was about to turn back to his computer when Tony spoke up again.

“I do have say, some of those writers are pretty talented,” he said. “A few of those stories about Tommy and Lisa were--”

“No!” Tim said. “You stop. This conversations ends now. I don’t want to ever hear the word fanfiction come out your mouth again.”

“What is fanfiction?” Ziva’s voice asked from behind him.

Oh shit.
