My last day... *pout* I shall have to come up with some crazy themes and do this again!

Today's theme is On Vacation.

After yesterday's insanity, our characters really need a break. What do they do to get away from their normal lives?

“Grandmummy wants to eat you,” Drusilla murmured, stroking the boy’s cheek. The words penetrated through his enthralled mind, and he lifted his eyes to hers in shock.

“You mean meet me?” he managed to say before the vampire’s thrall washed back over him. She laughed and kissed his forehead – he was barely ten years old, too young to be sleeping on the streets; and yet, that was where she had found him.

“No, little dovie-dove, spider-webs can’t get you out of this. Grandmummy wants to eat you.” She opened the door of the hotel room and shoved the child into a blonde woman’s arms. “Isn’t that right, Grandmummy?”

The other vampire didn’t answer: she was already biting into the boy’s throat and drinking. When she had finished, she pushed the corpse away and wiped her lips on the back of her hand – “Yes, Dru,” she purred. “That’s exactly right.”
