No more than five prompts in a row.
No more than three prompts in the same fandom.
No spoilers in prompts.
If your fill contains spoilers, warn and leave plenty of space.
Prompts should be formatted as follows:
Fandom, Character+/Character, Prompt
Some examples to get the ball rolling...
+ Harry Potter, Florean Fortescue, One last triple scoop to end the day.
+ NCIS, Gibbs/Tony, Head slaps weren't just used to keep Tony focused on his work.
+ Doctor Who, 10th Doctor + Donna, "If your a Doctor why don't you work in a hospital?"

Date: 2014-06-20 04:23 am (UTC)"Let me get this straight," Clint said not bothering to look up from the game of chess he was playing with You. "You need me to check your math. I thought you kept Bruce around for that."
"Yeah, that's one of the things I keep him around for," Tony retorted sarcastically.
"Way to treat your science bro," Clint shot back.
"Jackass," Tony muttered and tossed down on his workbench the sheet of equations he had spent the better part of the morning working on. He really needed somebody to go over his figures before he inputted them into the new suit or he would probably end up blowing up another lab.
"Love you too, sweet cheeks," Clint retorted finally looking up with an unrepentant grin on his face.
Tony rolled his eyes in exasperation. "I'm going to go raid the kitchen. You want something?" he asked having decided a change of subject was needed before he decided to take his frustrations out on Clint.
"Nah," Clint replied. "I'm good, and remember to stay away from Tasha's stuff."
"Wouldn't touch her stuff with a ten foot pole," Tony quipped having found out the hard way what the redhead assassin did to people who dared to mess with her leftovers.
Clint nodded and returned to his chess match.
Tony sighed and left.
Clint waited several minutes to make certain Tony was truly gone before pausing his game and going over to look at Tony's math. What he found surprised him, because on top of Tony's scrawled equations was a note that read:
I know you've got a good head for advanced mathematics considering the improbable shots you have made in the heat of battle, so check my numbers and I'll continue to ignore the fact that you are smarter than you appear.
Clint chuckled at Tony's backhanded compliment, which was one of the reasons why he felt comfortable about spending time with the man.
Tony was bluntly honest and Clint found that refreshing after months of dealing with people pussyfooting around him afraid that he would snap because of what Loki had done to him.
He picked up a pencil and started checking Tony's math.

FILL: DC - DinahBabs
Date: 2018-06-02 12:45 am (UTC)But what did it matter?
Barbara wheeled past Dinah with a grace that the other woman could only wish for in her hospital clunker. Her eyes wandered over rows upon rows of monitors, numbers and news videos flashing across her vision but only half meeting her eyes.
As soon as her wings were half-mended, the Black Canary would soar back into the sky. There was no denying that. Facts never changed, but the circumstances surrounding them did. Gravity was gravity whether an apple or brick was falling from the sky. Dinah would fight alongside the League, the Titans, by Green Arrow's side again, or whoever else would take her. Or maybe she'd ditch the flock and fly solo. Whatever she did, it was out of the clock tower and off Barbara's conscious.
"You can't just fire me!" She was all but screaming - any louder and the room would hold nothing but a pile of broken glass and bent metal.
"There are a lot of things that people are surprised I can do." Barbara pursed her lips. With her monitors dimmed, she could see Dinah's face reflected back at her.
Maybe she has a death wish - Barbara wouldn't put it past her. It's always the other person's life that matters more in this business, not yours. Anyone who felt otherwise never would have put a cape on in the first place.
"I told you, Dinah, I'm sick of seeing my friends die on me."
"I could leave right now, never speak to you again, and you'd still see my mutilated corpse spread across a screen."
"Don't remind me."
She does leave, with little grace and more than a few bumps. By the time she made it to the street, she was only keeping herself from rolling off the sidewalk and headfirst into five-o'clock traffic by luck. Her legs were one story the hardened library didn't like to read, her shattered wrists another. Luck and a sliver of grit were all that had gotten her out of Savant's grasp once - two resources of limited supply.
Despite it all, her com was still active. One word and things would go back to their sorry excuse for normalcy. By next week, this would nothing but a bad memory.
Barbara shook her head. Whatever Dinah thought of her, whatever she said, it wouldn't change anything. Barbara would take her hatred and hold it close even as Black Canary soared off across the horizon. So long as Dinah lived and breathed, Babs would embrace it - it was better than nothing, which so many of her other comrades left her with.
