Hi guys! I'm mahmfic, back for another week of hosting here at comment_fic! Today's theme is Femslash. The pairings & characters should only be girls. Friendship & family relationships are okay if you don't like femslash.


The rules still haven't changed:

DC Universe, Harley/Ivy, this mouth is murder, but I'm not the type to die

Each time she kisses Ivy, there's a shiver that runs down her spine that tells her, maybe, this could be the last.

This could be the one that kills her. All those toxins that Ivy gives her to keep her safe from harm (safe from her), maybe all at once they'll stop working, the same way all at once the Joker stops loving her.

She's used to suspense, used to love that bites and bruises, pricks like thorns. It takes her years to uncover the softer, sweeter things that love can be.

She still annoys the daylights out of Ivy. She knows that. Their schemes go awry; they end up back in Arkham or hunted down by those that used to be friends, at odds with everyone but each other. She knows that if Ivy wanted to, all it would take is one kiss to knock Harley dead.

It never goes that way. Sure, on occasion Ivy threatens to strangle Harley with one of her plants, and sometimes Harley wants to put more than a popgun to Ivy's head. But each time Ivy kisses her, as deadly as it could be, it's never the last time.

I do love the shiver of danger between these two, and the sweeter things despite it. *smiles* Thank you for this. It's gorgeous.

Aww, you're so welcome! These two were pretty much my first fandom eighty seven million years ago and I love them but I've never actually written for them, so this was fun to try out. :)
