Welcome to Tuesday, y’all. Today’s theme is canon divergence AU – you know, that time where Thorin didn’t get lost on the way to Bilbo’s house, or if Kel hadn’t stayed after her probationary year. Tiny little changes to canon that could, possibly, have enormous impact.
As ever, the rules are:
*No more than five prompts in a row.
*No more than three prompts in the same fandom.
*No spoilers in prompts.
If your fill contains spoilers, warn and leave plenty of space.
Have fun!

Date: 2016-05-27 06:25 pm (UTC)She gives birth screaming beside an odd road, strange carriages roaring along it, and just as she's given up, one of the carriages spitting out three people.
"Oh my god!" one of the men shouts but the woman hurries to Snow and kneels next to her, and she looks into the woman's eyes. "Everything will be alright," the woman says, and Snow believes her.
.
She wakes in a strange healing house, her daughter swaddled in a bassinet beside her. She is asked questions and because she knows this s a new world, and that she can't afford to answer anything wrong, as she feeds her daughter, she claims to remember nothing before waking near the road.
The woman who helped her visits every day; her name is Kara, and she reminds Snow a little of Red. Kara utterly adores Emma--she is able to keep her daughter's name because it was on the small blanket Snow had brought with them. But her own name, her own history... she cries holding Kara's hand as the police officers question her because all of it is lost to her, and finally, Kara chases them away.
"You can come home with me," Kara offers. And she asks, "What name would you like?"
"I don't know," Snow whispers, so Kara brings her a book of names.
.
Bianca and her daughter Emma go home with Kara five days after Bianca is found beside the highway. The story has made headlines across the country but on the whole, they are left alone; Bianca won't realize that it is because Kara's father is a very powerful politician.
Bianca has no idea what to do, or how to break the curse, and she misses her friends and husband so fiercely it aches. But she has her daughter, and she has Kara's protection, and she decides to take the first few months of her daughter's life to rest. They are safe at the moment.
Sometimes, she tells Kara little things; Kara believes it means she'll one day remember everything. Her father visits once and he reminds Bianca of her father-in-law, but he leaves them alone after, content that Bianca is not taking advantage of Kara.
Emma is a happy baby, and Bianca explores the the world, and Kara happily answers any question she has. And someday, she'll break the curse, she will, but for now, she has to focus on her daughter.
She last saw Charming battling Regina's soldiers, so she knows he'll understand, when they meet again.
