Welcome to Tuesday, y’all. Today’s theme is canon divergence AU – you know, that time where Thorin didn’t get lost on the way to Bilbo’s house, or if Kel hadn’t stayed after her probationary year. Tiny little changes to canon that could, possibly, have enormous impact.

It's one of those things that even knowing it would have never happened I kept hoping so hard it'd just HAPPEN. It's okay, fanfiction exists to fill the voids in my heart.

I pretty desperately need it to be a thing but like. I only know the details about Battle for the Cowl and have never actually read the storyline (I keep meaning to get there but I hear some pretty conflicting opinions about it??) so I couldn't do it justice myself. BUT TIM BEING JASON'S ROBIN WOULD MAKE MY WHOLE LIFE OKAY. Because like. There would be a lot of snark but also you know Tim still feels a little bad for taking his place and he'd also feel conflicted because Dick would be pissed but Batman needs a Robin and Tim would probably (naively) think he could anchor Jason a bit. Annnnnd meanwhile Damian would just be like, "You're all idiots, if anyone should be Batman it should be me."

omg you should totally read it. If you ignore all the side stories and just read the main mini I honestly don't think it's that bad. It has its problems, but seeing Jason be the first of the Bat boys to take up the mantle and the one to outright ask his brothers to be his Robin was really nice ;w; Also, Jason's Batman costume is hella cool.
