sharpiesgal and I’ll be your lovely host for this week.
My first theme will be Little Black Dress (everybody has that one particular article of clothing that is their go to piece for any ensemble). Prompts should have some relation to clothing or accessories.
The rules are as follows:
1. No more than five prompts in a row.
2. No more than three prompts in a fandom.
3. Use the character's full name and fandom's full name for ease adding to the Lonely Prompts spreadsheet.
4. If your prompt or fill contains anything that can be a trigger for the reader, please add a warning for that to give the reader the chance to decide if they want to read or not.
5. No spoilers in prompts for a month after airing. Use the spoiler cut option found here.
6. If your fill contains spoilers, warn and leave plenty of space, or use the above mentioned spoiler cut.
Prompts should be formatted as follows:
Fandom, Character+/Character, Prompt
Some examples to get the juices flowing:
MCU, Clint/Bruce, well worn purple shirt
Burn Notice, Michael/Fiona, every well dressed spy had a back up pair of sunglasses
Captain America, Steve Rogers, his shield was a prop before it became a weapon
We are now using AO3 to bookmark filled prompts. If you fill a prompt and post it to AO3 please add it to the Bite Sized Bits of Fic from 2015 collection. See further notes on this new option here.

Re: Dean/Sam: Winchester Memories 1/2
Date: 2015-06-14 09:36 am (UTC)Sam nestles into Dean's chest. Dean threads his fingers through Sammy's hair as he rests his head on his shoulder. He'd tried hard to give him the childhood he deserved, but it had been impossible. Still, he didn't regret having been there for him, and his memories shift, going from the few good memories he had with his father to some of his fondest memories growing up. Every one of those had involved Sammy.
Sam's voice is quiet in the still room as he asks softly, "Did I ever say thanks?"
Dean grins. "Yeah," he answers although there have been times when he's mistakenly thought Sam hadn't been thankful at all. There had also been times he'd wondered at the twists and turns their relationship had taken. He tried hard to fight the feelings he had for his little brother, but when Sammy had kissed him, it had all been over. He sighs with the memory.
Sam turns his head and kisses his wrist. "No regrets," he tells him.
"Yeah? Really?" Dean's voice is a snide retort, but Sam nods.
"Any other road," he tells him, "wouldn't've gotten us here."
"I wouldn't've left ya, Sam." A moment of remembrance passes between them as they both remember the one time Dean did, but Sammy doesn't call him on it. "Not for long."
He strokes his hair again, and Sammy burrows his face into his chest. "I know," he replies softly, and for a moment, Dean is reminded of how much the younger boy needed him, how much he still needs him, and, in turn, how much Dean needs him.
His voice is tight with contained emotion as he whispers back, "I love you, Sam."
"Love you, too, Dean," he whispers back, and they stay like that all the night, Dean dressed in his father's jacket and holding tight and comforting to his baby brother. When the morning light finds them, they're both asleep, and they sleep for a while longer before getting back on the road always together, two brothers, two halves of one whole, who will never leave each other again.
