Hello everyone! ‘Tis me, tattooeddevil, still your guest host for this week! Today's theme is smartphones. Maybe your character has lost theirs? Maybe your character has never used one and is introduced to them? Or write your story completely as texts or tweets! So long as it has to do with smartphones, I say go for it :)

Just a few rules:
- No more than five (5) prompts in a row.
- No more than three (3) prompts in the same fandom.
- Use the character's full names and fandom's full name for ease of adding to the Lonely Prompts Spreadsheet.
- If your prompt or fill contains anything that can be a trigger for the reader, please add a warning to give the reader the chance to decide if they want to read or not.
- No spoilers in prompts for a month after airing. Use the spoiler cut option found here.
- If your fill contains spoilers, warn and leave plenty of space, or use the above mentioned spoiler cut.

Rivers of London, Thomas Nightingale +/ Peter Grant, Thomas Nightingale does not "get" predictive text, but the results when it's secretly or accidentally enabled on his phone are eithe hilarious or disturbing. Peter still doesn't know what "toast" was supposed to be.

"I don't even know why we're having this conversation," Stark said, walking away from them. Not leading, Steve thought, absolutely not, just walking ahead of them. "My phone's the best out there. Absolutely."

"I don't understand why we need a telephone we need to carry everywhere," Steve said.

"Did you say that about walkie-talkies, back in the day?"

Steve tried not to feel uncomfortable about that question.

"Besides," Stark said, not even waiting for an answer, "some of us don't live in the Dark Ages."

"The Other Guy hates the sound of it," Banner said before Steve could respond to the insult.

"I'll work on a subsonic ring for his excellent hearing then."

Banner quirked up a grin. "I'm not sure he'd care. He doesn't like the sound of it."

Stark pouted, rolling his shoulders. "What's not to love? I mean, I put in the sarcastic font for Pepper's texting."

Steve really didn't want to know what else Stark might've put into the telephone. If the way Stark stared at Miss Potts was any indication, it was probably x-rated.

Abe couldn’t believe it when Henry announced he was buying a smartphone. He had discussed with Lucas, Jo and Hanson the best make and, as Abe expected, ignored all their suggestions. Having bought it Henry spent the evening texting people to tell them his new number. Abe was impressed.

The following lunchtime Abe was surprised to hear noises coming from the desk drawer. Upon investigation he discovered it was Henry’s new phone, showing a number of unread texts and new calls. Stage one had been persuading Henry to purchase the phone; stage two would be getting him to use it.

Hardison whistled, entirely too pleased with himself. He held up the phone he’d been messing with, the one he’d managed to get do things that would make any self respecting hacker weep. Except him, of course, since he’s the one who did it.

"My tech's so good, Tony Stark would want one of my cellphones,” he declared triumphantly.

Parker just looked at him, her head slightly tilted. “Who’s Tony Stark?”

“Who’s- How could you even ask that, baby?” Hardison said, eyes widening with disbelief. “From the superhero movie we watched like two days ago. The guy with the suit! Who flies!”

“Oh!” Parker said, her face lighting up a little. “The flying man!”

Hardison’s head thunked against the table before he could stop himself. “Noooo,” he mumbled into the wood. Sometimes Parker’s grasp on pop culture was truly appalling. “Wrong superheroes. Wrong guy who flies.”

He looked up to see a blank look on Parker’s face, and he let his head drop again. “I give up.”
