Friday: Quick and dirty (50 word fics)
Apr. 24th, 2015 08:00 amAwww, it’s the end of the week with me,
tattooeddevil as your guest host! :( I had fun, did you? I will leave you with today's theme, which is 50 word fics. Your prompts can be anything and as long as you like them, but your fills should not be more or less than 50 words. I will allow doubles and triples ;)
Yay for Friday, have a fab weekend everyone! Thank you for playing!
Just a few rules:
- No more than five (5) prompts in a row.
- No more than three (3) prompts in the same fandom.
- Use the character's full names and fandom's full name for ease of adding to the Lonely Prompts Spreadsheet.
- If your prompt or fill contains anything that can be a trigger for the reader, please add a warning to give the reader the chance to decide if they want to read or not.
- No spoilers in prompts for a month after airing. Use the spoiler cut option found here.
- If your fill contains spoilers, warn and leave plenty of space, or use the above mentioned spoiler cut.
Prompts should be formatted as follows: Fandom, Character +/ Character, Prompt [Use the character's full names and fandom's full name]
Some examples to get the ball rolling...
- Author’s choice, author’s choice, wrong number
- Iron Man 2, Tony Stark/Natasha Romanoff, ballet
- The Matrix, Neo/Trinity, leather
We are now using AO3 to bookmark filled prompts. If you fill a prompt and post it to AO3 please add it to the Bite Sized Bits of Fic from 2015 collection. See further notes on this new option here.
Not feeling any of today’s prompts? Check out the Lonely Prompts Spreadsheet. For more recent prompts to write for, you can also use LJ’s advanced search options to limit keyword results to only comments in this community.
While the Lonely Prompts Spreadsheet and LJ's advanced search options are available, bookmarking the links of prompts you like might work better for searching for in the future.

Date: 2015-04-24 03:48 pm (UTC)“I can tell,” Snart offers wryly, “by the way that you’re staring. Come on, kid, do I really look that bad without my shirt?”
“Of course not, but-!”
A pause.
“…Panicking! I’m panicking, you can’t blame me for what I say while panicking!”

Date: 2015-04-24 03:59 pm (UTC)Or, at least, that’s what he tells himself. Just adrenaline, at the wrong time and with the wrong person. It could’ve been anybody, even Caitlin or Wells, and he would’ve reacted the same way. Would’ve allowed himself to be pressed back against the wall, kissed savagely, rutted against until the world was a narrow point of gasping pleasure that still makes him shudder even now.
Just adrenaline. Just a mistake.
It won’t happen again.
Or, at least, that’s what he tells himself the first time. And the second, and the third, and the fourth…

Date: 2015-08-03 04:52 pm (UTC)"Distinguished, my love," J'onn corrects him kindly, dropping a loving peck on his cheek as he drifts by, "only a particularly obtuse being would ever call you old."
"Hm," he smiles, "love you too."
