Tuesday: Vampires

langstonlover again, here with your next theme. I'm especially excited about today cause we get to have a theme about my most favorite non-human creatures in the world :D Today's theme will be Vampires. Anything goes as long as it goes with the theme. As always here are the rules:
*No more than five prompts in a row.
*No more than three prompts in the same fandom.
*No spoilers in prompts for a month after airing. Use a spoiler cut as needed.
*If you know the character's full name, use it. Also, give the fandom's complete name, too.
*If your fill contains spoilers, warn and leave plenty of space.
There's also a new rule now: if something in the fill could be a trigger, please have a note to warn for it.
Prompts should be formatted: Fandom, Character/Character, Prompt

Fill: Finch/Reese, vampire!Finch
Date: 2015-05-12 05:28 pm (UTC)The second time Reese was in danger of dying from blood loss, Finch couldn't find him. Had they been bonded that would not have been a problem, but after three years he still had not mustered the courage to tell Reese about this most worrisome of his many secrets. He enlisted Root's help and later John collapsed in his arms, failing to shoot Quinn. The smell of the blood on his hands was extremely powerful, but Finch had long ago learned to control his impulses. They were not alone in the car on the way back, so he had to wait until they arrived at the safehouse, and then for Shaw to step out to fetch (human) blood from the hospital, before feeding a few drops of his blood into John's drip. Two days later John was healed and on his feet again. Five days later he was on a plane. John did not notice the healing was odd because the events surrounding Carter's death were traumatic enough to fully occupy his mind.
The third time John was bleeding to death, he was on the floor of an elevator while Root screamed for Shaw. Fusco had to carry Reese out while Finch did all he could to calm Root. By the time they escaped, all was silent. Reese was unconscious on the backseat beside him. Fusco was driving, Root furious and shaking in the passenger seat. Unbeknownst to the others, a bullet had clipped Finch, just a graze at his elbow. He lifted his arm and let his blood trickle down over John's back. The wound immediately began to heal, until only the bloody marks on Reese's shirt and a little soreness remained. The next day Reese was able to carry on as normal, even fire a rocket launcher at Control. Finding Shaw was the priority. Nothing else mattered.
John was missing and Finch couldn't find him. They were still not bonded, but Finch was far enough in love with the man by now that he could sense when John was in pain, regardless. Therefore all Root's quips about Reese being able to take care of himself were meaningless in the face of Harold's certainty. By the time he located him up in the mountains - delirious from hypothermia and the stench of blood in the car so powerful Finch wanted to choke - there was no time for hesitation or finesse. He extended his fangs, bit into his own wrist, and forced John to drink from him. "You're mine, John." He promised. "I will never lose track of you again." On the drive back to New York, Harold told him everything. Beside him Reese wept quietly and explained that he had spoken to Carter that night. Then he demanded to know why Finch did not save her. "I would have had to turn her. Do you think she would have appreciated my bestowing immortality upon her?" He had other questions, too. "Have you ever killed?" Finch answered in the negative. Occasionally he had drunk from humans, but always stopped before he drained them dry. He was lucky, he mainly lived on very expensive supplements, and had trained himself sufficiently to go without them entirely for a month. "If vampires can heal, why do you limp?" Because he had refused to erase Nathan's memory that way. "Will you turn me? If there's a chance to be with you and help you save people forever, I'll take it."

Date: 2015-06-24 09:30 pm (UTC)Still, he decided to wait a bit for that. Mostly running tests on zombieism took up most of his time, but he was also somewhat apprehensive. He didn’t think Liv would react badly given what she was, but one never quite knew. He wanted to be careful.
Apparently, though, he wasn’t quite careful enough.
“Ravi,” Liv said from somewhere behind him, “why is there a straw in this bag of blood?”
Ravi spun around, panicked. He couldn’t believe he hadn’t heard her come in, which meant he hadn’t had a chance to hide his lunch yet. Well, it wasn’t ideal, but he supposed this was the sign he’d been looking for.
“I… actually have something I need to talk to you about,” Ravi said, caught between grimacing and smiling reassuringly. “Do you think vampires are real?”
“What?” Liv asked, eyes narrowed. She crossed her arms over her chest, looking at him carefully. “Are you saying there was a vampire here? A real, blood drinking vampire?”
“Um, still is,” Ravi offered. He waved awkwardly at her. “Hi.”
Live stared at him for a moment then rubbed a hand over her face. “Should’ve known something was up with you,” she muttered. She sighed. “At least I’m not the only weirdo, I guess.”
“So no freaking out?” Ravi asked, trying to contain the hopeful feeling that had bubbled up when she hadn’t immediately run out screaming.
“We have a lot to talk about. Particularly about keeping secrets,” she replied, shaking her head. “But no freaking out. For now.”
