Hello, everyone. I’m caz251 and today's theme is song titles.

Just a few rules:
No more than five prompts in a row.
No more than three prompts in the same fandom.
Use the character's full names and fandom's full name for ease adding to the Lonely Prompts spreadsheet.
If your prompt or fill contains anything that can be a trigger for the reader, please add a warning for that to give the reader the chance to decide if they want to read or not.
No spoilers in prompts for a month after airing. Use the spoiler cut option found here.
If your fill contains spoilers, warn and leave plenty of space, or use the above mentioned spoiler cut.

"So," he declares, dropping down into his seat with a firm tug of his uniform, "the problems in the Vulpeculan sector are all satisfactorily solved. We've helped to protect their burgeoning democracy, have established vital trade links and have respected the prime directive throughout."

"A most productive trip," Troi declares, with a pleased little smile as she settles down in the seat besides him.

"Certainly better than several of our missions have gone," Riker agrees smugly, settling down on his other side, "and that's saying something. Where to next, captain?"

"Altair-One is reporting an immanent natural disaster, one that they'd appreciate our input on," he provides, and leans smoothly back in his chair. Smiles at Data, sitting somewhat happily in his usual place at the helm, "are we ready to set off, mr Data?"

"Indeed, sir."

"Excellent," he swallows a little, prepares his very finest pointing finger, "then make it-"

"Arcaida. X-ray X-ray delta niner niner zero. This is Starfleet Control..."

"...So?"

"Uh," Geordi's slightly embarrassed voice comes over the speakers, only barely audible over the drowning blare of sudden music, "sorry that I didn't get there in time, captain, but it appears as if somebody managed to get into our systems when we were all down on planet."

"Somebody?" He asks, with a sinking feeling most firmly in the pit of his stomach, "and who would this somebody happen to be, Geordi?"

"Well, judging by the graffiti on our wall which says 'maybe you shouldn't send all of your senior staff down to the planet every single time, mon capitaine'," Geordi clears his throat awkwardly, as his hands clench on the arms of his chair, "I'm guessing either a particularly cheeky ensign, or a certain godlike being who we've encountered before."

...Of course.

"I lost my heart to a starship trooper. I lost my heart to a starship trooper. Oh..."

Of course, he realizes as he grits his teeth, it would be Q.

Gansey rubbed his lower lip. Since he and Adam left Henrietta, Ronan had stolen the Pig and now, Adam was missing and had been since sometime yesterday.

The Pig was just a thing - but it was Gansey's thing, his Camaro, part of his psyche, and Ronan had destroyed it. And Adam, missing over a fight where Gansey had managed to use his words with surgical precision, even if he wasn't quite sure how he had. Again.

The sooner he found Adam, the sooner they left for Henrietta, the better. Gansey couldn't kid himself that Henrietta could make all the problems go away, but being home couldn't hurt.

His parents say he is too young to know of love, and they speak without regards to the years of his twentysomething age. They say he is too young to be wrapped in Austin’s arms, cuddled and loved and made to feel good. They blush when he speaks with youth of kinky playtime with his boyfriend, of Austin rubbing his bottom gently before he lifts his hand and spanked him, leaving a rosy red handprint. Micah’s parents think he is too young to be thinking about marriage and happily ever after, ‘you have your entire life ahead of you!’ they remind him.

‘Why would you want to settle down with Austin? Why stay in one place when there is an entire big beautiful world to see. They remind him that kisses and love, romantic walks in the park under a sky of diamond stars, comes from age, not youth, but he pays them no attention.

He may be twentysomething, youthful in mind and body, but his heart is true and he knows what he wants. All he desires is the man with the heart of gold who promised to love him forever and ever, amen.

They don't have any music, and despite rumors to the contrary, Lance Hunter really can't dance.

But when Bobbi drags herself out of bed on a healing knee, she tucks herself into his arms and asks, "Dance with me?"

She leans into him and lets him support most of her weight because he wants to and she's willing, for once, to let him.

"We don't exactly have any music, Bob," he points out, unhelpfully.

In better circumstances, uninjured, she'd glare at him and tell him to get creative. It's not better circumstances. He nearly died and hasn't really processed her fear for him, too stuck on the fact that she nearly died and wouldn't have cared if she had.

So Bobbi shakes her head and presses her face to his neck. "Just hum along."

She sings softly under her breath and they move their feet, swaying to music in a dance slow enough to accommodate their pain.
