It's Friday! I hope you guys have enjoyed my themes for this week. My last one is all about summertime. Barbecues, swimming pool, heat waves, summer vacations, you name it. As long as you manage to squeeze summer in there somewhere you're good.
Just a few rules:
No more than five prompts in a row.
No more than three prompts in the same fandom.
Use the character's full names and fandom's full name for ease adding to the Lonely Prompts spreadsheet.
If your prompt or fill contains anything that can be a trigger for the reader, please add a warning for that to give the reader the chance to decide if they want to read or not.
No spoilers in prompts for a month after airing. Use the spoiler cut option found here.
If your fill contains spoilers, warn and leave plenty of space, or use the above mentioned spoiler cut.
Prompts should be formatted as follows: [Use the character's full names and fandom's full name]
Fandom, Character +/ Character, Prompt
Some examples to get the ball rolling...
Harry Potter, Remus Lupin/Sirius Black, dog days of summer
DCU, Jason Todd/Bruce Wayne, Jason's first trip to the beach
Any, any, I see you boys of summer in your ruin.
We are now using AO3 to bookmark filled prompts. If you fill a prompt and post it to AO3 please add it to the Bite Sized Bits of Fic from 2015 collection. See further notes on this new option here.
Not feeling any of today’s prompts? Check out the just created Lonely Prompts Spreadsheet. For more recent prompts to write, you can also use LJ’s advanced search options to limit keyword results to only comments in this community.
While the Lonely Prompts Spreadsheet and LJ's advanced search options are available, bookmarking the links of prompts you like might work better for searching for in the future.

Date: 2015-06-19 04:02 pm (UTC)--
A snowflake lands on his nose, and he jumps in shock before turning his head to the sky. A moment, and then a flurry of snow comes down on his head so fast that even he can only stand there in shock for a moment before vibrating free.
"Mark!"
"Mark?" The man in question smirks, ambling out from behind a tree with his usual sense of excellent timing, "my my, are we getting that close, baby?"
"...Mardon! Wizard!"
"There we go," Mark snorts, and obediently holds out his wrists as Barry strides towards him, "honestly, darling, if that was all it took to get you to admit your feelings I should've made it snow in August long before now..."

Date: 2015-09-22 01:32 am (UTC)Fine, Terry had said, you do it, then.
It'd been a trap, of course, and they'd almost been late to the board meeting, Terry's collar hardly hiding the marks Bruce left all up and down his neck.
Bruce heads upstairs after putting his glass in the sink, finds Terry's shirt hanging off the banister railing, his pants puddled in the floor in the middle of Bruce's bedroom. Bruce kicks them out of the way and makes his way over to the bed where Terry's sprawled out on his stomach, scribbling notes in one of his textbooks.
"You seem to have lost a few things," Bruce says, running his hands up the back of Terry's thighs. Terry makes a soft, pleased noise in the back of his throat when Bruce mouths at the small of his back, drags his tongue up his spine and tastes the salt on his skin.
"Hot in here," Terry mumbles. "Too hot for clothes."
"Mm," Bruce hums, hooking his fingers into Terry's boxers, tugging them off of his hips. "I agree."

Date: 2015-06-22 08:21 am (UTC)Once upon a time, there was a princess. This princess was much like all princesses in stories like these—she was elegant and beautiful, musical and well-read, able to sew and mend and weave, much-loved by her people, and all the other things that a princess must be in order to be considered Accomplished in stories like these.
This princess was the sort of princess that quite enjoyed strolling alone through the palace gardens, and this is just what she was doing when she was stopped by a rather small, "Ahem!"
She looked about, finding herself quite alone on the path. "Is someone there?"
"Down here, princess," the voice came again, more disgruntled than before. Being rather nearsighted, and glasses having not been invented yet, she crouched down amid her clouds of skirt to find herself face to snout with a small green creature, no bigger than her hand.
"Well, hello," she said, smiling—for, as the stories say, princesses are always on good speaking terms with all the creatures of the forest. "Have you come to ask me to kiss you and turn you back into a handsome prince?"
"Ah—no, princess, that would be the frog."
"I see!" She swept up the little creature, holding it firmly before eyes. "Then are you a goblin, come to make a deal for my firstborn child in exchange for something I want very much?"
"What use have I of a child?" the creature scoffed, its long tail twitching. "I am a dragon, princess, and I have come to capture you and take you back to my lair."
"Oh, how lovely!" the princess exclaimed.
The dragon blinked. "Um—is it?"
"Well, yes!" She placed the dragon atop one of the carefully pruned hedges and clasped her hands together. "I've never been to a dragon's lair, it's quite exciting! Ah—" She paused, peering at the little dragon. "Just out of curiosity, about how big is your lair?"
The dragon looked at her, and then twisted its head around to look at itself. It harumphed and shuffled about for a moment on its leafy perch. "Yes, well— there are some things I may have forgotten to take into account."
The princess, however, was not going to let a little thing like uncoordinated spacial volume ruin her newfound good fortune. "Well then, you will just have to come up to my room!"
The dragon swished its tail thoughtfully. "Is that allowed?"
"I don't see why not."
"Well—all right, then."
That evening the dragon roasted seventeen marshmallows (as well as the princess's dress and three of her fingers), and she made him a new lair in her wardrobe in which he began to hoard sewing needles and green-headed pins, and they both lived quite happily ever after.

FILL: Hit the floor, Zero/Jude
Date: 2016-03-25 06:26 pm (UTC)Yawning, he sat up in bed, his hair an adorable tousled mess. A pie was sitting on the nightstand waiting for him—a mouthwatering delicious, scrumptious treat, hot and fresh right out of the oven.
“Happy birthday, Zero.” Jude smiled as he held out a cup of hot coffee, black with two sugars, just how Zero liked. Another quark Jude loved about his boyfriend—Zero still drank hot coffee in the heat of summer.
Something of love and devotion fluttered in Zero’s hearts as he grinned and took the coffee, and when he drank down the rich aroma, he couldn’t help but to moan with blissful contentment.
Leaning in, he kissed Jude, a sweet coffee flavored kiss, one that made the younger man’s heart skip a beat. In the summer of life, they had time to relax, therefore they spent the day in bed together, cuddling and kissing, and sharing the yummy pie and giggles, as if they were fools in love. And they were, the type of love that made bright goofy grins come to their lips and made their eyes sparkle like shimmering stars.
No kiss would be as sweet as wine when Jude smiles this time, a smile of fondness and pure joy, his soul twinkling so brightly. If there was a time to love, a chance for passion, heart and soul, and a single moment to hold the one he desired in his arms, it was now. He embraces Zero and holds him close, cuddling him, while goose bumps flutter on his warm skin.
♥ END ♥
