Now on to Wednesday with an old favorite: alternate universe. This can be either a fusion, where you place characters into another genre or show, like the Leverage team at Starfleet, or a canon divergence, or anything at all, really.
Just a few rules:
No more than five prompts in a row.
No more than three prompts in the same fandom.
Use the character's full names and fandom's full name for ease adding to the Lonely Prompts spreadsheet.
If your prompt or fill contains anything that can be a trigger for the reader, please add a warning for that to give the reader the chance to decide if they want to read or not.
No spoilers in prompts for a month after airing. Use the spoiler cut option found here.
If your fill contains spoilers, warn and leave plenty of space, or use the above mentioned spoiler cut.
Prompts should be formatted as follows: [Use the character's full names and fandom's full name]
Fandom, Character +/ Character, Prompt
For example:
Avatar the Last Airbender, Zuko + author’s choice, Shane (novel) AU
Historical, author’s choice, if Anne Boleyn’s first child was a son and Elizabeth her secondborn
We are now using AO3 to bookmark filled prompts. If you fill a prompt and post it to AO3 please add it to the Bite Sized Bits of Fic from 2015 collection. See further notes on this new option here.
Not feeling any of today’s prompts? Check out the just created Lonely Prompts Spreadsheet. For more recent prompts to write, you can also use LJ’s advanced search options to limit keyword results to only comments in this community.
While the Lonely Prompts Spreadsheet and LJ's advanced search options are available, bookmarking the links of prompts you like might work better for searching for in the future.

Filll: The Quality of Mercy, Teen Wolf, R, Stiles and Isaac
Date: 2015-07-02 10:46 pm (UTC)Stiles did that one himself.
"Don't..." Argent whispered. He was struggling feebly as Stiles carefully injected him with an incredibly deadly poison.
The poison was frighteningly easy to find and process -- the plant you distilled it from grew naturally in this part of the west. Even better, the Bestiary had provided additional hints on how to make it even worse. It was the kind of thing that modern chemists either didn't know about, or didn't want to talk about.
The syringe's plunger went all the way down. Stile was injecting Argent in the base of his skull. Argent still had enough hair that it would be difficult for the pathologist to find the injection mark. And the modified poison was so exotic that it wouldn't show up in even a fairly sophisticated toxicology screen.
It would look like a heart attack.
The poison worked fast. As Stiles released Argent and stepped away, the old man's eyes were already began to glaze over.
"Why?" Argent whispered with his last gasp.
Stiles actually smiled. His hands were shaking, and his heart was pounding, and everything seemed so different now that he had was a killer. But Stiles still managed to smile.
********************
The twins were suprisingly easy. They weren't Alphas any longer -- and they were spending a lot of time with their new bed-partners. So they often weren't with each other.
However, they were still werewolves. So Stiles needed help. Isaac didn't even hesitate when Stiles asked.
Stiles suspected that would be the case.
It went as planned both times. Stiles approached each of the brothers alone. Then he told them that the other brother was in trouble. After that, he led their victim to a carefully selected ambush site. The modern, mechanized world provides a lot of places that are noisy and over-loaded with the stench of machinery and fuel. Those kinds of places pretty much mitigated a werewolf's enhanced senses.
Once they finally had the brothers isolated and preoccupied with worry, Isacc showed up and provided the distraction that Stiles needed. Then Stiles put a modified tranquilizer dart full of high-quality wolfsbane into their chosen victim.
After that, Isaac fought defensively, with the twin goals of preventing their victim from fleeing, while keeping him away from Stiles. As the wolfsbane worked it's magic, Isaac would become steadily more and more aggressive. That forced Ethan and Aiden to fight back harder -- which pumped more and more of the wolfsbane throughout their systems.
As the second brother died, Isaac couldn't help himself. He spat onto the twitching body.
"Now what?" Isaac asked as Stiles began pouring gasoline over the body.
"One more," Stiles said quietly, just before he lit a match.
********************
Deucalion was hard.
Very hard.
Crouched in a copse of trees, Stiles painfully wrapped a bandage around his arm. That cane-spear thing that Deucalion habitually carried had almost gone through his chest.
Isaac was in even worse shape. And since the injuries he'd taken had come from an Alpha, they weren't healing immediately. He was sitting on a convenient rock, staring at their campfire. He looked like he'd been run over by a lawn mower.
Deucalion looked worse. He was now in two parts. His body was a half-mile away.
His head was merrily cooking in their open fire.
Stiles forced down the urge to vomit as he realized that the smell was making him hungry.
"The others will figure out what we did," Isaac said finally. One of his lips was split open and he was missing some teeth. That made him difficult to understand, but Stiles still managed to understand what Isaac was saying. After all, it paralleled his own concerns.
"Yeah, they'll figure it out," Stiles conceded.
"What then?" Isaac asked painfully.
"We tell them why we did it," Stiles said as he finished tying off the bandage.
Isaac just smiled bitterly. "And why did we do it? Besides the fact that all of those bastards deserved to die?"
Stiles paused and stared into the flames.
One of Deucalion's eyeballs popped from the heat.
"The strong can afford to show mercy," Stiles said. "The weak can't."
