[identity profile] evil-little-dog.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] comment_fic
Hiya! I’m [livejournal.com profile] evil_little_dog and I'm handling guest hosting this week. Today's theme is Fusion. Take your favorite fandoms and mix them up with others for fun and profit!

Just a few rules:
No more than five prompts in a row.
No more than three prompts in the same fandom.
Use the character's full names and fandom's full name for ease adding to the Lonely Prompts spreadsheet.
If your prompt or fill contains anything that can be a trigger for the reader, please add a warning for that to give the reader the chance to decide if they want to read or not.
No spoilers in prompts for a month after airing. Use the spoiler cut option found here.
If your fill contains spoilers, warn and leave plenty of space, or use the above mentioned spoiler cut.

Prompts should be formatted as follows: [Use the character's full names and fandom's full name]
Fandom, Character +/ Character, Prompt

Some examples to get the ball rolling...
+ The X-Files/The Whispers, Fox Mulder+/Dana Scully, The children are hearing voices.
+ MCU/His Dark Materials, Thor doesn't have a daemon.
+ Leverage/Fullmetal Alchemist, Roy Mustang+/Riza Hawkeye (and anyone else), Roy Mustang is an investigator for an insurance company specializing in museums...

We are now using AO3 to bookmark filled prompts. If you fill a prompt and post it to AO3 please add it to the Bite Sized Bits of Fic from 2015 collection. See further notes on this new option here.

Not feeling any of today’s prompts? Check out the just created Lonely Prompts Spreadsheet. For more recent prompts to write, you can also use LJ’s advanced search options to limit keyword results to only comments in this community.

While the Lonely Prompts Spreadsheet and LJ's advanced search options are available, bookmarking the links of prompts you like might work better for searching for in the future.

Harlequinn/Joker, pre Harlequinn/Poison Ivy
references to torture and death (nongraphic)

I haven't been on LJ in a year and haven't rewatched BTAS in a few years. I hope you like it anyway.

It's her favorite game. If you can guess her House correctly on the first try, she'll let you go. If you miss, Mr.J always has a different game to play.

The most common guess is Slytherin. Her puddin is the perfect embodiment of his house, smooth talking, charming, ruthless, and funny. No one seems to understand how *funny* Slytherins are. They think she followed him out of the dungeons, the darkest power couple since Thom and Bellatrix. It's flattering, but wrong, and everyone who picks Slytherin goes, typically kicking and screaming, off to whatever backroom her Puddin is tinkering in. No matter how they go in, they always come out with a smile.

Ravenclaw is almost as popular, and always delivered with some simpering flattery about how clever she is. As if she'd be incapable of keeping up with Mr. J from any other house. They tend to scream disparaging things about her intelligence as they're dragged away. They can't think outside the box, but she's the stupid one?

Anyone who guesses Gryffindor gets laughed out of the room before they can scream out their awful, boring, wrong rationalization. As if anyone interesting has ever come from *that* Ivory Tower. Except maybe Selina, but really Harley knows, deep down inside, that the woman must have talked the hat into feeding her feline fetish. It would hardly be the weirdest thing the woman has ever done.

Only one person has ever guessed right. Ivy stood there, regal and smirking as if she wasn't bound and held at wandpoint. Her lips are slick with what could be a gloss but is probably poison as she leans in towards Harley until her deadly mouth is close enough to Harley's ear to murmur into it.

"Smart enough, brave enough, sly enough, but obsessively, insanely *loyal*. We recognize our own; up Hufflepuff."

So she lets her go, because fair is fair. And if she thinks it's funny that there's Devil's Snare choking the henchmen by the time she tears her eyes away from the Ginger witch sauntering away, her Puddin won't care.

Maybe it'll put a smile on his face.

I really love this, and I really love how perfectly in character it is for Harley. She really is SUCH a Hufflepuff, and this does a great job of explaining just why. Thank you so much! :D
