Hiya! I’m evil_little_dog and I'm handling guest hosting this week. Today's theme is Fusion. Take your favorite fandoms and mix them up with others for fun and profit!

Just a few rules:
No more than five prompts in a row.
No more than three prompts in the same fandom.
Use the character's full names and fandom's full name for ease adding to the Lonely Prompts spreadsheet.
If your prompt or fill contains anything that can be a trigger for the reader, please add a warning for that to give the reader the chance to decide if they want to read or not.
No spoilers in prompts for a month after airing. Use the spoiler cut option found here.
If your fill contains spoilers, warn and leave plenty of space, or use the above mentioned spoiler cut.

FILL: Cultural Exchange Programme [MCU, Jane Foster/Thor, PG]

“So,” she starts slowly, Subrah balancing on her shoulders with his eyes narrow and his hands grasping gently at her hair, “you don’t have a daemon, then.”

The man, Thor as he calls himself, only looks confused. She’s starting to suspect that he may not be the brightest bulb in the box, although he probably wouldn’t understand the reference, “a... Daemon?”

“A daemon,” she confirms, and points at Subrah – helpfully balancing up and waving – as an example. A particularly fine example, if she does say so herself, “the outer representation of your inner soul, apparently. Although there have been several papers arguing that actually… Er, probably not the time. You don’t have one?”

“Hm,” Thor says, watching Subrah in a way that is probably meant to look thoughtful but that actually looks kind of dopily adorable. Odd, she never thought that she’d actually like that, “an outer representation of my-?”

“Inner soul.”

“Yes,” Thor frowns for a moment more, and then smiles as bright as the sun above. And, man, she knows that she shouldn’t be so attracted to somebody so dim and so unusual and so unexpected… But hey, she’s only human, “I have- had one, but it did not take the form of an animal. Instead, it was something far more innocent and below notice. An object, a-“

“Hammer?”

And Thor just keeps smiling, practically bounces on his heels like she’s just said the most intelligent thing that he’s ever heard, “exactly!”

“The same hammer that you need to find?”

“Exactly!” And Thor smiles and smiles until he beams, so brightly that she has to take a step back and gulp as the rays flood over her, “Dr Foster, you are the most intelligent woman – nay, person! – that I have ever had the privilege of laying my eyes on!”

And she’s reminded, quite suddenly as she stares into his beaming face, that there are more important things than intelligence and normalcy in the world.

Thank you! I've had vague headcanons about Asgardian daemons for ages, so it was good to finally get them down. :D
