Caitlyn Wayne raised an eyebrow and hid a smirk behind her champagne glass.

"You're assuming my 'rack' is not enhanced by said money," she said dryly. Jason choked on his finger sandwich and Caitlyn obligingly thumped his back until he could breathe again.

"No way!" he sputtered. "There is absolutely no way you'd cut yourself up for shit like that! And that's not the point!"

Caitlyn remembered the breast reduction surgery she had before beginning her vigilante career and said nothing.

"The point I was trying to make," continued Jason, grabbing another sandwich from a passing waiter, "is that crazy cat lady is definitely into you. The real you. You're an ass half the time, but you... you care and you're also smoking hot. And." Jason looked down at his feet, the blush on his face spreading to his ears. "And you shouldn't dump on yourself like that," he muttered. Jason stuffed the sandwich in his mouth as soon as he finished his little speech and chewed with vigour, determinedly looking in every direction but Caitlyn's.

Jason was rough and hot-headed compared to Dick, more likely to slap away someone's hand than shake it. But, he could be unexpectedly sweet at times, in a way that made Caitlyn's heart ache. She wondered if Alfred ever felt like this, when she was a child.

Caitlyn didn't have to bend down to rest a hand on Jason's head anymore. He looked up at her and Caitlyn smiled. Not a Catie smile, but a genuine one, full of affection for the boy she (privately, guiltily, sincerely) thought of as a second son.

"Thank you, Jason," she said warmly and Jason looked even more embarrassed. And cute.

Well, they were at a public event...

Caitlyn quickly snapped a photo of Jason and posted it to her twitter before he could react.

"CAITLYN!" Jason shouted, horrified, and Caitlyn cackled.
