Thursday: Dark Fic

Hi guys. I’m likewinning and today's theme is Dark fic. Prompts should all be on the darker side of the spectrum - murder, mayhem, etc.

Just a few rules:
No more than five prompts in a row.
No more than three prompts in the same fandom.
Use the character's full names and fandom's full name for ease adding to the Lonely Prompts spreadsheet.
If your prompt or fill contains anything that can be a trigger for the reader, please add a warning for that to give the reader the chance to decide if they want to read or not.
No spoilers in prompts for a month after airing. Use the spoiler cut option found here.
If your fill contains spoilers, warn and leave plenty of space, or use the above mentioned spoiler cut.

Bruce won’t kill it.

It, because to give that thing a name would be an insult. It killed Jason, it assaulted her, it tried to break her father and murdered cities full of people along the way. But no, no, Bruce won’t kill him. He’ll stand before Jason’s grave, he’ll stand over her bed, he’ll stand by her father’s shoulder but at the end of the day he won’t actually do a single fucking thing.

“He’s mentally ill, Barbara,” he says, staring down at her like she’s some child. Some pathetic casualty, tossed aside to aid his story of endless woe, “he needs our help, not our condemnation. As much as I’d love to do it… Well.”

He won’t. He never will.

…But unfortunately for him, she doesn’t feel like playing by his rules anymore. Lying in her hospital bed, an endless ache of pain, she starts to plan. She has easy access to guns, so that won’t be a problem. Her father is the hero of Gotham, so getting into Arkham will be slightly more complicated but hardly an issue. And when she gets into the same place as it, when she’s on the other side of the glass with it giggling so madly like that excuses everything-

Well, she won’t hesitate. Some things deserve to die.

It hurts -- or it should, but Roy's on so many drugs he can't really feel it, just folds his hands behind his head and watches as Tim climbs on and straddles him, presses the little catch on the side of the knife to let the blade spring out.

Tim rubs his thumb over it, presses firm at the tip until a thick drop of blood wells up on his skin, reaches down and smears it on Roy's chest, palms his dick with his other hand.

"What can I do?" He says, eyes more dilated than Roy's even though he's completely sober.

Roy rolls his eyes.

"What do you want me to do?" Tim clarifies and Roy swallows, squeezes Tim's thigh between his fingers.

This is the first time he's seen him in sixth months. Tim's hair is shorter, he's a little bit bulkier, and there's a scar that looks like it's from a bullet on his shoulder that makes Roy more nervous than he wants to admit.

"I dunno," he says, licking his lips. "Something permanent."

"That one," Jason says. They're at the beach, sitting at a cafe. It's near dusk, and Jason indicates a man about forty feet away from them: early thirties, blonde, built like an ex-surfer but something - off.

"Yeah?" Tim asks. He sits close to Jason so they can talk quietly, licks his lips and asks, "What's he done?"

"Assault and battery charges," Jason lists like he's reading the guy's police file, which is what he did. "Domestic violence. We had him pegged for a couple different murders, but not enough evidence."

Tim squirms in his seat, and Jason runs his fingers through Tim's hair. This is how he keeps Tim grounded, how he keeps Tim from being another psycho he ends up arresting.

Of course, he knows that's what he should've done. Any other cop who found Tim covered in blood, eyes dialated to hell, would've pulled him into the station without another question. But Tim -

Tim needs him.

"Okay," Tim says now. They follow the guy home, shoot him full of etorphine, and Jason steps out while Tim does his thing. When he comes back, the guy's in bits and pieces and Tim's shivering and happy, his eyes just a little less cold than they usually are.

They dump the body in the water, and then Jason stops the boat and Tim crawls into his lap and kisses him stupid, grinds against him until they both come in their jeans like idiot teenagers.

Maybe Jason needs Tim, too.
