čāhāršanbe: Superheroes
Sep. 30th, 2015 09:00 amGood morning for the third time! I remain
doreyg and today's theme will be Superheroes. Prompts can be anything relating to the good old genre of superheroes (which will never ever die, you heard me Spielberg) - be it superhero tropes, your favourite characters suddenly gaining superpowers or superhero fandoms themselves.
Just a few rules:
No more than five prompts in a row.
No more than three prompts in the same fandom.
Use the character's full names and fandom's full name for ease adding to the Lonely Prompts spreadsheet.
If your prompt or fill contains anything that can be a trigger for the reader, please add a warning for that to give the reader the chance to decide if they want to read or not.
No spoilers in prompts for a month after airing. Use the spoiler cut option found here.
If your fill contains spoilers, warn and leave plenty of space, or use the above mentioned spoiler cut.
Prompts should be formatted as follows: [Use the character's full names and fandom's full name]
Fandom, Character +/ Character, Prompt
Some heroic examples:
+ Babylon 5, Londo Mollari/G'Kar, rival superheroes AU
+ The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl (comics), Doreen Green/Nancy Whitehead, having a superhero girlfriend is super helpful
+ Marvel, Peter Parker/Wade Wilson, ridiculous upside down kisses
We are now using AO3 to bookmark filled prompts. If you fill a prompt and post it to AO3 please add it to the Bite Sized Bits of Fic from 2015 collection. See further notes on this new option here.
Not feeling any of today’s prompts? Check out the just created Lonely Prompts Spreadsheet. For more recent prompts to write, you can also use LJ’s advanced search options to limit keyword results to only comments in this community.
While the Lonely Prompts Spreadsheet and LJ's advanced search options are available, bookmarking the links of prompts you like might work better for searching for in the future.
Have fun!

"But did you have to bring Pops with you?" Benson asked.
"It's alright, Benson, I'm having a grand ol' time taking flying lessons," said Pops.
"You see, Benson? Pops totally digs our new superpowers!" Mordecai said.
"Yes, indeed, it's been a jolly good show up here," added Pops.
"But how will you get Pops down?" asked Benson.
"Down? Down! Oh dear! I'm afraid of heights!" Pops screamed.
"Uh, Benson..."
"I'll get the ladder," said Benson.

"Of course not," Wade says. "Because you'll never come over for movie night. I mean, I don't blame you for not wanting to watch the Raimi ones, but Andrew Garfield. Come on."
"You're insane," Peter says, like he's almost in awe of how much. "Clinically, literally, absolutely insane."
"Yep," Wade says, grabs Peter's face and pushes his mask up to his nose, mashes their mouths together. Peter makes a hmph noise and wiggles on his line and Wade tilts his head, tries for a little tongue.
"Ugh," Peter says when Wade pulls away."You almost stuck your tongue up my nose."
"Yeah," Wade says, scratching the side of his head. "That seemed way more romantical and stuff in the movie."
Mostly it was just...wet.
"That was definitely not romantical," Peter says and does a little somersault, lands on his feet next to Wade. "But, you know. There are other things we could do...upside down."
"Eat tacos?" Wade asks. "Because I've tried that. It doesn't really work with all the lettuce and the ch--"
"Wade," Peter says, putting his fingers over Wade's mouth. "Not tacos."
Wade opens his mouth to say something else, but then his eyes get really, really big as he puts it together and he sucks Peter's fingers into his mouth. "Oh," he says. "That's naughty."
Peter blushes and it's just to much for Wade too take, so he grabs Peter and throws him over his shoulder. "Fire us a line, Petey!"
"Fire a what?" Peter asks, confused.
"A line," Wade gestures with his hands. "You know, like Batman."
"Bat who?" Peter asks and Wade sighs.
"Just get us to a bed, gorgeous."
"Alright, Wade," Peter grins, holds his wrists out and aims. "That I can do."

I'm too young to be taken seriously
But I'm too old to believe all this hypocrisy
And I wonder
How long it'll take them to see my bed is made
And I wonder
If I was a mistake

I wish that I could cry
Fall upon my knees
Find a way to lie
'Bout a home I'll never see
It may sound absurd but don't be naïve
Even heroes have the right to bleed
I may be disturbed but won’t you concede
Even heroes have the right to dream
