Connor had give them a nervous laugh and reluctantly let go of Oliver, when they left him behind in the apartment he shares with Oliver. His worries aren’t unfounded when Michaela plans on grilling Ollie about his boyfriend, and she’s positive that Oliver wants to know what Connor gets up to when they’re not together. She had promised to keep a close eye on pretty boy but the truth is she hasn’t need to. He’s different now. All of them are. By this point they’re just trying to survive.

“We’re here.”

Oliver’s voice brings her back. Right this is about having fun, forgetting, not about work and Annalise’s world. She’s finally out of that madhouse. There’s actual fresh air she can breath in, not the stale one when she’s hiding between books.

“Are you sure you want to do this?” She asks looking at the skating rink in front of them. It’s been too long since she’s done this, but Michaela is sure she still excels at skating.

Oliver smiles, takes her hand. “Of course, weren’t you going to teach me some moves out there in the ice?”

“Obviously.”

“And after that we could buy cheap food and you can spill all the dirt you have on Connor.”

Oliver seems too excited by the prospect, eyes crinkled from smiling too hard, glasses low on his nose. In that moment she understands why Connor wants to keep him away from muck and grime around them. She nods and grins, lets herself be led inside.

“You’re going to see why I’m really called ice queen.”

"We've got our ways of dealing with that," said Jenkins.

"But does he, like, like it or--"

"Not really, but he knows that I like it, and that's enough for us," Jenkins answered. "Now can we talk about anything else? I'd rather not talk about my sex life with co-workers."

"Well, okay," said Vic. "But I mean, aren't dates hard for you guys? You can't take him out to dinner..."

"So we go out to a movie. Jesus, Vic."

"But there must be a lot of compromises for you two. Don't you ever get annoyed by that?"

"Sure, but there are compromises in every relationship, Vic. Way I see it, the only thing different about this one is that one of us is a robot."

"Who's a robot?" asked Robo, standing at the entrance to the break room.

"Hey, Robo. We were just talking about you," said Vic.

"We were talking about us," Jenkins corrected.

"Oh," said Robo. He took a seat next to Jenkins. "I take it you didn't enjoy this topic?"

"Just the fact that everybody thinks it's so friggin' weird," said Jenkins.

"Speaking of." Robo took out some tickets from his pockets. "You wanna go see the Bruins game tonight? We'll go to my place afterwards, see the monster movie marathon on TCM, later do some funsies."

"Sure," Jenkins replied. "You still got that bottle of Jack Daniels from last time?"

"You're the only one who drinks it!" Robo laughed.

"C'mon, team," said Jenkins, getting up, "I'm sick of lounging around here. Let's beat up some monsters and clock out."

"'Kay," said Vic. He still didn't know what to think about Jenkins and Robo, but he had to admit they made a great team.
