Ahoy-hoy my bait-thing beauties, yes, my bathing beauties! Happy Hump Day to those who celebrate it (or not). Today's theme is the Simpsons (and if you couldn't guess what the Irish is for The Simpsons shame on you!). Prompts must use the Simpsons in some way, shape or form - quotes, episode titles, characters watching it, whatever floats your boat. Have fun with it, but don't have a cow, man.
Just a few rules:
No more than five prompts in a row.
No more than three prompts in the same fandom.
Use the character's full names and fandom's full name for ease adding to the Lonely Prompts spreadsheet.
If your prompt or fill contains anything that can be a trigger for the reader, please add a warning for that to give the reader the chance to decide if they want to read or not.
No spoilers in prompts for a month after airing. Use the spoiler cut option found here.
If your fill contains spoilers, warn and leave plenty of space, or use the above mentioned spoiler cut.
Prompts should be formatted as follows: [Use the character's full names and fandom's full name]
Fandom, Character +/ Character, Prompt
Some examples to get the ball rolling...
☺ Iron Man movies, Tony Stark (+ himself), "Aw, $20? I wanted peanuts!" "Quiet! $20 can buy many peanuts." "Explain how!" ...
☻ Leverage, any/any(/any), "There's someone here who says he can help you." "Batman?" "No, he's a scientist." "Batman's a scientist?" "It's not Batman!"
☺ Any (except Supernatural), any +/ any, "This is the worst thing you've ever done!" "You say that so much it's lost all meaning."
We are now using AO3 to bookmark filled prompts. If you fill a prompt and post it to AO3 please add it to the Bite Sized Bits of Fic from 2015 collection. See further notes on this new option here.
Not feeling any of today’s prompts? Check out the just created Lonely Prompts Spreadsheet. For more recent prompts to write, you can also use LJ’s advanced search options to limit keyword results to only comments in this community.
While the Lonely Prompts Spreadsheet and LJ's advanced search options are available, bookmarking the links of prompts you like might work better for searching for in the future.

Date: 2015-10-21 11:49 am (UTC)Fill: Meaning [Daredevil (TV), Fisk/Matt]
Date: 2016-03-25 08:16 pm (UTC)“You’ve said that so much,” he says deliberately, spins in his chair to face the outraged visage of Daredevil. All red leather and fury, a storm barely contained in a lithe body, “that it’s lost all meaning. Tell me, do you ever get tired of this tack?”
The Daredevil – the devil himself, as he’s heard several less than wise employees refer to the man as – hesitates for a moment. He’s perched in the window, a vibrating ball of tension. He looks like he wants to run, sprint across the rooftops and out of sight. But at the same time he also looks like he wants to get ever so much closer, with fists and teeth and... Lust.
“Sometimes I think that you don’t actually believe the things that you’re spouting,” he smiles smoothly, spreads his thighs a little. He’s not a demonstrative man, not by any means, but he does know what it is to want, “that you only come here to interact with me, to... Test yourself.”
A long moment. Daredevil hesitates on his spot, swaying with tension.
“Sometimes,” he purrs, and wonders what it’d be like to have that tension closer to him. On top of him. around him, “I think I wouldn’t mind if you failed.”
“...Don’t do it again,” Daredevil says, voice so shaky that for a moment he thinks all his myriad dreams are about to come true in vivid detail, and pushes violently away from his perch, “I’ll be keeping watch over you, Fisk.”
Oh well. There’s always the next time.
