leni_ba, and today's prompt is about my not-so-secret addiction: Books! So we can either have the fandom be based on a book, or the prompt can have something to do with books and reading. Yes, book quotes count.

Just a few rules:
No more than five prompts in a row.
No more than three prompts in the same fandom.
Use the character's full names and fandom's full name for ease adding to the Lonely Prompts spreadsheet.
If your prompt or fill contains anything that can be a trigger for the reader, please add a warning for that to give the reader the chance to decide if they want to read or not.
No spoilers in prompts for a month after airing. Use the spoiler cut option found here.
If your fill contains spoilers, warn and leave plenty of space, or use the above mentioned spoiler cut.

Willow clapped the book shut, horrified! She'd NEVER wanted to read THAT! The material was utterly disgusting!
Horrified, she prayed that the book would never be found, it was perfectly foul!
Sure enough, merely putting it away wasn't enough...

When they started the book, it was meant to be cathartic; healing. A suggestion by their doctor, when he saw their original plant book. Write about their memories. Put them down to paper so they weren't so intense in their heads. The tears she and Peeta shared remembering the lost people in their lives at first nearly destroyed them. But over time, the release of pain started to make them stronger, making it easier to remember the good times without being overshadowed by the bad.
Standing here, twenty-five years later, in the newly unveiled Remembrance Hall in the Capitol's Memorial Building that had been created out of the ashes of war, Katniss stood in awe at what they'd created. When she and Peeta had donated the book, she'd only thought it would help them gain closure; she'd never envisioned it would help others gain closure as well. It seems their book of memories had inspired others too. People who'd responded in a way no one saw coming: they wrote letters, they drew pictures, and they sent them to the Mellarks, thanking them for everything - that their loved ones had not died in vain.
This Hall was now filled with those letters. There wasn't an empty inch on any of the walls.
Glancing over to where her husband was leaning down, listening gently as their children pointed to whatever had caught their attention, she caught his eye and he gave her a small, melancholy smile.
Love filled her and she turned back to the picture in front of her. I know I did you proud, Prim.

Date: 2015-11-30 07:21 am (UTC)He isn't running away, he just needs some air, some distance. Sam couldn't understand his motives, but he let his brother go in the end albeit reluctantly. Dean had promised to come back to the bunker as soon as he cleared his head, but for every mile a new fear comes up. He can't stop the Impala now.
"Hello, Dean."
Dean startles, his grip tighter on the steering wheel. "Shit, you scared me, Cas."
"Don't you think it's time to come back?" Cas' voice is earnest as is his face when Dean turns to look at him, his eyes too blue.
"Look, man, I gotta do this."
"Dean."
Dean wants to fight, keep on telling everyone that he's bad news, it's better if he stays away. But Cas will just fight him on it, say he's being stupid -which he probably is-and Cas can and will drag him back if needs to.
Cas won't give up on him.
"Fine, we'll go back to Lebanon," Dean says. Cas is now wearing a smug expression because he got his way. Dean is weak when it comes to him, but he doesn't say anything or points it out. Silence is better in some cases, and he refuses to break the understanding they've reached.
He read once that not all those who wander are lost. Maybe he was, but it's possible he's been found.
