Date: 2015-11-21 09:28 pm (UTC)“I’m an idiot?” Hal asks incredulously, gasps as he moves inside him and tilts his thick head right back, “I’m - fuck – not the one insisting on having a conversation while fucking a guy.”
“Hm,” he says, and stills himself just briefly. Just long enough for Hal to start panting, to start arching up towards him in a hardly subtle sort of plea, “you’re an idiot because you still allow me to do this to you, even after all this time.”
“What, the talking in bed?” Hal makes a face, as he pushes up on his elbows. Immediately falls back, as he allows himself another slow thrust, “I – ah! – don’t know why I let you do that either, honestly.”
“The everything,” he hisses, and presses down so hard that Hal chokes off a cry – goes as stiff as a board underneath him, “the talking, the fucking, the being in your bed with your ring on the table several feet away. After all that has gone between us, after all I have done to you, you should let me nowhere near so close. After all I have done to you... You should never want to see me again.”
“Sinestro...” Hal’s mouth opens on a gasp, as he rolls his eyes and thrusts in again, “Thaal, you’re an idiot if you believe that.”
“Am I?” He asks mutinously, and thrusts hard several times until Hal’s mouth is gaping helplessly open on a seemingly permanent basis and Hal’s hands are fisting hard in the sheets, “maybe I’m just telling you the truth. I am not a good man, Jordan. I am a great one. You should stay far away from me, or... Or face the consequences.”
“The consequences?” Hal breathes, barely audible. And then surprises him by sitting up again, pressing their foreheads together and breathing hard against his mouth, “fuck the consequences. There is good in you, Sinestro, and I’m not stopping until I pull it back out.”
There’s a long pause, as they stare face to face, and then he laughs bitterly and starts thrusting again, “then you’re even more of an idiot than I thought, Jordan.”
“We’ll see,” Hal says stubbornly, falling back to the bed, “we’ll see.”
