comment_ficWELCOME! WELCOME! WELCOME! Today is the first day of the last Lonely Prompts Challenge Week for 2015! I hope you're all ready to do some writing to fill those lonely prompts!
December 21-25 is Lonely Prompts Week and it will be a challenge week! Each day will have a different theme for you to base the prompts you fill on.
REWARDS
Everyone who participates, will get either a participation icon or participation banner at the end of the week (depending on graphics makers schedules, this may take some time).
The top 3 people who fill the most lonely prompts for the week will get either 10, 20, or 30 LJ Tokens (in addition to the icon or banner).

Note and Example: To be more specific, prompts that were posted on odd-numbered days would be filled (or requested to be filled).
Please include the month and day when requesting and filling prompts. To ease confusion, please use this format for the date: xx Month. Ex: 03 December
If you leave a request, please make sure it follows the theme for the day and that each request is a new comment.
You are more than welcome to fill any and all lonely prompts, but only those fitting the days theme will be counted for the daily totals. I will however include a list of those who filled other prompts when I do the round up at the end of the week.
Please number your fills when leaving more than one in a comment. This helps me when I'm ready to count them up.
To find those elusive Lonely Prompts, you can rummage around at the Lonely Prompts Spreadsheet, or go into the Calendar Archives, or for more recent prompts, you can use LJ's advanced search options to find prompts to request and/or fill.
To get things going, a few rules that I ask you all to follow.
1. You can only request five prompts to be filled. Please create a new comment for each prompt request.
2. You can request no more than three prompts from the same fandom.
3. You can, however, fill as many prompts as you'd like!
4. In the subject line, be sure to say whether this is a request or a fill!
5. You must link back to whatever the prompt is in the community logs (whether filling or requesting it be filled), and, if you're filling the prompt, please complete the fill as a response to the original prompt.
6. If you are filling an "any/any" prompt, please let us know what fandom (or, if original, say so!) you're using for the response.
7. If you filled any lonely prompts earlier this week, this is the place to share them!
8. Finally, we now have a community at AO3. If you have an AO3 account, please post your fills there. More information on how to do this is located at this link.

Selecting the empty seat next to a handsome black dude with a winning smile, she piles an oversized bright green bag onto the table. It's contents spilling out almost immediately. "Hi, I'm Garcia, Penelope Garcia." her voice is girly and excited and she has a huge smile on her face as she introduces herself.
"Hardison," says Hardison, He stands, lowering his glasses to take a better look at her. They're indoors. He doesn't really need to be wearing those sunglasses. But he's a cool cookie and likes the effect. He holds out a hand for her to shake.
"Oh right," she smiles and takes his hand. They shake hands vigorously for a few seconds. Grinning at each other before sitting down.
"So do you know what this meeting is about?" asks Garcia taking a notepad with kittens on the front and a pencil with a pink fluffy end out of her bag.
"Not a clue, and believe me I tried every trick. The IP bounced over a gazillion pops before cutting out, must be the toughest security system in the world, in the universe, in the multi... whatever. I mean I can re-task a satellite. I can get a level-3 NSA security clearance. But I couldn't hack that" admits Hardison, leaning back on his chair. "I needed more than the 20 seconds notice to get here... 45 and I woulda had it fo sho." There's a slim tablet and a cell phone in front of him. The phone occasionally emits a light ting noise. It's Nate, he never takes the Do Not Disturb I'm busy thing seriously.
"I know, I know, I know, I know. Don't I know it. It's been really bugging me, I can't figure out what was missing. I mean, you can't sit on a park bench in this country and not leave a trail!" agrees Garcia, who had also been give just enough notice to allow her to get to the meeting in time.
Garcia casts a glance over the three other people in the room.
"Wow! Double oh to the wow to the oh wow power! Is that Shadow Walker over there," she stage whispers, her brightly painted lips forming a perfect O in amazement. "I thought he was a myth, or dead!"
Hardison smirks. Garcia's stage whispers was nothing if not loud. "Seems rumours of his demise were a touch over exaggerated."
Just then a tall man strides into the room, closes the door and stands at the head of the table. The room goes silent. Everyone knows who this is. It's the biggest of big cheeses.
"I have in front of me the best of the best. The best hackers, technical analysts, whatever you call yourselves. What you don't know about computers and technology isn't even invented yet."
He pauses for effect. "And we need your help."
Garcia bites her lip with anticipation. " Office of omnipotence. How may I dazzle you?
Hardison smiles and puts his hands behind his head "Age of the geek, baby. We run the world."
