Gooooood morning/afternoon/evening/whenever you're reading this, ladies and germs. I’m your host for this week [livejournal.com profile] writinchica2k and today's theme is based on showtune titles. If you're not as musical-theatrically inclined as other comm members, a browse through Wikipedia: Lists of musicals should help you find a song title to catch your eye.

Just a few rules:
No more than five prompts in a row.
No more than three prompts in the same fandom.
Use the character's full names and fandom's full name for ease adding to the Lonely Prompts spreadsheet.
If your prompt or fill contains anything that can be a trigger for the reader, please add a warning for that to give the reader the chance to decide if they want to read or not.
No spoilers in prompts for a month after airing. Use the spoiler cut option found here.
If your fill contains spoilers, warn and leave plenty of space, or use the above mentioned spoiler cut.

Prompts should be formatted as follows: [Use the character's full names and fandom's full name]
Fandom, Character +/ Character, Prompt

Some examples to get the ball rolling...
+ any, any, On My Own (Les Miserables)
+ any supernatural-based fandom, any, Is Anybody There? (1776)
+ any high school-based fandom, any, That Can't Be (Caroline, Or Change)

We are now using AO3 to bookmark filled prompts. If you fill a prompt and post it to AO3 please add it to the Bite Sized Bits of Fic from 2016 collection. See further notes on this new option here.

Not feeling any of today’s prompts? Check out the just created Lonely Prompts Spreadsheet. For more recent prompts to write, you can also use LJ’s advanced search options to limit keyword results to only comments in this community.

While the Lonely Prompts Spreadsheet and LJ's advanced search options are available, bookmarking the links of prompts you like might work better for searching for in the future.

Welcome!

I gave Rodney credit for having Madison as a niece and probably being talked into doing her hair a few times.

...one of my coworkers totally told me about one of her kids singing this song in court. Because she'd just seen the movie. And it was funny, but so sad at the same time.

And one of my kids just lost a mom to OD, so...bringing the fandom to work!

I love the idea of Rodney helping little girls do up their hair!

Poor RL kids, though.

I imagine Rodney as a hairdresser would be brilliant, exacting, and a crazy diva. And go insane with how John's hair would never cooperate.

My kids. I weep for them.
