[identity profile] cyphersushi.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] comment_fic
Hello! I am [livejournal.com profile] cyphersushi and I'll be your host for this week and I am planning on taking a bit of a tour with you.

We start our trip as far away as we can - In Space. Wanted to write or prompt zero-g sex, now's your chance. Or maybe put your characters on a spaceship? Maybe they already live on one? You could also dump them on a strange planet that's not their own.

Most importantly - have fun!

The usual rules apply of course.

No spoilers in your prompts for at least one week after publication/air date.

If there are spoilers in your story, you must warn in bold and leave at least 3 spaces.

No more than 5 prompts in a row, and no more than 3 prompts per fandom. If one of your prompts has been answered, you can prompt again.

And, because we LOVE our code monkeys, please follow the standard format with your prompts. Such as:

X-men, Wolverine/Gambit, Zero-G sex

RPS/Firefly, Pauley/Author's choice, The Black breathes

If none of the prompts catch your interest, feel free to browse around our Lonely Prompts section and show some lovin' to our prompts without homes. There are some really awesome prompts just witing for a writer over on delicious.

Most importantly - Have fun!

Arthurian lit, Lancelot/Gawain, the space between (h/c)

Date: 2009-09-01 03:31 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] tresa-cho.livejournal.com
Hahaha. Don't ask. Just... don't... I kinda... missed out on the 'c' part of the 'h/c'...

When the light around him finally fizzled, Gawain burst off the pad and threw himself at the window. 'Below' them, the enemy ship was exploding its last cabins of oxygen into vacuum in huge, silent bursts of light. Gawain pressed his palms to the reinforced glass until his skin was white.

"Anything?" he asked urgently, whipping around. Perceval, at the control panels, pressed his lips into a fine line and gave Gawain a look that ripped his heart in two. He turned his gaze back to the falling enemy ship.

Lancelot was still on that ship, protecting the transporter pad so that no pirates could get aboard the Round Table. So that he, Gawain, could be safe.

SGA, Sheppard/McKay, McKay's first time

From: [identity profile] jennytork.livejournal.com
(With much love to the fastest, handsomest beta in the world!)

As they stood waiting to go through the gate, one of the younger Marines asked, "So, what was it like?" At McKay's expression, he stammered on, "You know... your first time. W-with the Colonel."

He glanced over at Sheppard, who was checking gear, and gave a slight smile. "Well... I was really scared and nervous. My heart was going a mile a minute but it was the most exciting thing ever. And I have to admit, it was over way too soon."

He turned to find the Marine gaping at him with huge green eyes in a face gone very pale. "No-No, sir, I think you misunderstood.... I meant what was it like your first time being part of the Colonel's away team."

McKay frowned at him. "That's what I was talking about, Leiutenant. What did you think I meant?"

SGA, Sheppard/Rodney, the essentials of space flight

Date: 2009-08-31 05:30 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] me-ya-ri.livejournal.com
"Come on, McKay," John drawled. "We need to get going."

"Give me a minute," McKay snapped, glaring at him before going back to checking his pockets and the supplies stored in the back of the jumper. "I'm just making sure we have the essentials."

"What essentials?" Ronon asked, sighing and kicking back in his chair.

"The essentials of space flight, of course," Rodney said, glaring at him this time.

He muttered, nodding as he checked every pocket and pouch. John turned to look at him impatiently.

"McKay," John growled.

"All right!" McKay snarled. "Don't come crying to me if we get in trouble and we don't have everything we need!"

"Rodney," Teyla said in her most soothing voice, "the jumpers are fully stocked after every mission. We should have everything."

"I know the black market around here," Rodney said, waving a finger at them all. "I don't trust any of those idiots to keep their hands off of the supplies. It needs to be verified before we go."

"What does?" John huffed, getting seriously annoyed.

"Medical supplies, including spare epi-pens," McKay said, starting to list off what he was checking. "Spare bullets for our guns. Spare food supplies. Those always disappear. Chocolate. Instant coffee. Spare clothes. Proper diagnostic equipment in case we find something interesting. Batteries. Spare radio. Sleeping bags. Spare socks…"

He trailed off muttering as he continued to check through the bins to make sure that everything was there. John groaned, letting his chin drop to his chest. Teyla sighed, settling in to wait. Ronon just snorted.

"So we waiting for him to sit down?" Ronon asked.

"We'll wait for two minutes longer," John said, emphasizing the words so that Rodney actually heard them. "Then we'll go whether he's sitting or not."

Rodney absently waved a hand at him, not looking up from his counting. John turned back around, looking out the front window. It wouldn't matter. He'd wait longer if that's what it took for McKay to calm down. The mission wasn't that big of a deal and they didn't have to hurry. Besides, he'd made sure that they got there ten minutes early so that Rodney could go through his pre-flight ritual of checking his pockets. Next time he'd have to give McKay five minutes. That should cut down on his stressing out.

"Done!" McKay announced at 1:59 minutes elapsed.

"Then sit down and we'll get going," John said, shaking his head at McKay as he sat in the copilot's chair. "You and your essentials."

"You'll thank me if something goes wrong," McKay said, bristling.

"Sure we will," John drawled, starting up the jumper and smiling as always at how it responded.

Leverage/Firefly, AU or time-travel, Mal and Nate have different ideas about leadership.

Date: 2009-08-31 09:23 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] daria234.livejournal.com
"I don't like him," Nate said of Mal, once the team was in their private shuttle.

"Yes, I can see why," Sophie said, "Charming, handsome, honorable but willing to break the law. All terrible qualities, Nathan."

Nathan's lips thinned as he sighed. "I heard him threatening one of his own team. He said he would throw him out the airlock if he did it like at the hospital. Whatever that means."

"Was he threatening that Jayne guy?" Eliot said, and Nate nodded.

"Thought so," Eliot said, "Yeah, I don't blame him. Jayne's the kind of guy who could fall on either side of the line."

"I agree," Nate said, "But it's no excuse. And he insults that doctor. The young one."

"Yeah, we should kidnap the doctor and take him with us," Parker said gleefully, "For his own protection of course."

Nate glanced at Eliot, waiting for his typical 'There's something wrong with her,' but was disturbed to find that Eliot appeared to be mentally weighing the benefits of Parker's proposal.

"At least he doesn't act like he's the only who's not a criminal," Sophie muttered.

"Come on, Nate," Hardison jumped in, "He hates the Alliance, he has a team full of fighters and liars and people who are extremely gifted geniuses, and he has major control issues. He's you.... No offense."

Nate just closed his eyes. He didn't need to watch as his team all nodded vigorously.
==================
"I don't like him," Mal said.

"But he's so noble and charming and refined and sexy," Kaylee objected.

"The man runs his team while drunk," Mal complained, "Not that there's anything wrong with a little of the good stuff, but really. And besides, he acts like he's better'n them. That's not leadership."

"Says the man who just called dibs on the bathroom by saying Captains asses go before pilot asses," Inara pointed out.

"That is not the same! Besides, he talks to that Parker woman like she's a child! Who talks to a skilled and powerful woman like that?"

River and Kaylee responded by throwing a small hunk of porridge at Mal's face.

Mal held his patience as he slowly gritted, "I don't talk to you two like that! And besides, he's not a fighter himself, but he's perfectly happy to let someone else throw and take the punches."

Apropos of nothing, Jayne wondered aloud, "Hey, who do you think would win a wrestling match - me or Eliot? If I cheated, I mean."

Wash replied to Mal, "Yeah you never stand back and let your amazingly smart and sexy first officer do the ass kicking," as he gave his wife a kiss.

"Face it, Mal," Book said, "He's not the villain. He is an honest man thrown into a situation where dishonesty is the right thing to do. He preserves life wherever possible. He has lost badly in the past, and now he can't stand to lose anything again. And he has made his team his family despite the fact that he fears he has no idea how to be a part of a family."

"You got all that from one meeting?" Mal said.

"Yes, but don't feel bad. I'm much, much smarter than you," Book reassured him.

"Well, all I got from the meeting was that he's a smug overbearing stubborn bastard who thinks he's always right!" Mal said.

Inara gave a deceptively sweet smile. "What's wrong - afraid of a little competition, Mal?"

They're so far from home when they're up in space. Both of them are earth-boys and the last Scions of their line and for all Milliardo likes to pretend to be a spacer named Zechs that fact never changes.

Space is not their home and its people are not their people. Denying that will only lead to madness and that is a fate Treize never wants to experience.

*Takes place sometime after Zhane's first appearance in PRiS and before Countdown to Destruction*

He finds his friend by a tree. It seemed lately that as he explored this Earth city more and more, his friend could often be found by trees. It was completely understandable. Trees reminded him of home.

Their home.

Walking over to him, Andros studies his friend. The Earth sunlight puts a slight yellow in the other man's hair, as well as give a light tan to a face and body that spent far too much time in a stasis tube under harsh lighting. It also hightlights the sadness in the Zhane's eyes. Sadness that mirror's Andros' own.

"I miss home, Andros," he finally admits.

"I know," Andros replies. "We'll get it back."

"Someday."

Star Trek reboot, Jim/Bones, space is getting to Bones so Jim tries to distract him

Date: 2009-09-01 01:47 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] tresa-cho.livejournal.com
It was all right when they were in the middle of negotiations, or flying with the fleet to a peace-keeping treaty signing. Or when they were in the middle of a huge, catastrophic battle against those races who opposed the organization. But between those heart-pounding, gut-wrenching, panicked breathing times was the down time. The time when Bones could think about just how thin the bulkheads of the Enterprise were. He could think about what would happen if he didn't get to the radiation shelters in time in the event of a solar flare. He could think about what would happen if a tiny pin prick opened in the wall.

Arms wrapped around him from behind. Lips pressed to the back of his neck. "Bones." A sing-songy murmur hushed over his skin. A mouth trailed kisses down his back and across his shoulders. Strong palms massaged his chest and abs. "Bones." The voice was muffled by his skin.

He covered the hands with his own, and let the person turn him. Jim captured his mouth enthusiastically, with all the energy of a young puppy. Bones let it wash over him as he melted into the younger man. Jim pushed them both towards Bones' bunk and sent them tumbling onto the mattress. The mattress that was six centimeters away from vacuum.

Jim bit his shoulder, snapping Bones' mind away from the darkness of space. Bones wrestled Jim out of his pants and threw them over the bed. Jim shimmied out of his boxers, chuckling, and then set to work on Bones' towel. Within seconds, Bones couldn't think about anything but Jim's heat and the feel of his hands and lips.
