Torsdag - Thursday - Getting Dirty
Sep. 3rd, 2009 11:00 amHello! Horses and hoses and hats, oh my! Yesterday was really fun, you guys still amaze me with your creativity. This is my last day *cries* so let's go out with a bang.
... or at least a splorsh as we land in the mud. In today's theme we get dirty. Dusty, muddy, covered in honey or just sweaty - all up to you. It doesn't have to be physical dirt either, it could be a dirty mind just as well. Let's get down and dirty!
Most importantly - have fun!
The usual rules apply of course.
No spoilers in your prompts for at least one week after publication/air date.
If there are spoilers in your story, you must warn in bold and leave at least 3 spaces.
No more than 5 prompts in a row, and no more than 3 prompts per fandom. If one of your prompts has been answered, you can prompt again.
And, because we LOVE our code monkeys, please follow the standard format with your prompts. Such as:
RPS, Robert Downey Jr./JDM/Hugh Jackman, "I've got Nutella everywhere!"
Leverage/Burn Notice, Fiona/Parker, Bright smile in a grimy face
If none of the prompts catch your interest, feel free to browse around our Lonely Prompts section and show some lovin' to our prompts without homes. There are some really awesome prompts just witing for a writer over on delicious.
Most importantly - Have fun!

"The way people run around like clowns looking for their wigs," Parker giggled.
"The message it sends to the next person who pisses you off," Fi said with a smirk.
"The way it makes your face all dirty."
"How is that a good thing? That's the most annoying part of blowing things up."
Parker smiled. "But that's how I first knew that we should be together. When I saw you look up from the detonator and give me that bright smile in a grimy face."
Fi smiled back. "Our first kiss."
"Grimy-face kisses are definitely on the list."
"Well, do we need a list? Isn't blowing things up its own reward?" Fi suggested.
"Beauty for the sake of beauty," Parker agreed, nodding.
Hearing this conversation, on the other side of the room, Nate and Sam were quickly pouring themselves another drink as they muttered phrases like "such a very bad idea." Michael and Eliot were just sitting with their arms crossed, scowling and rolling their eyes as if they knew full well that the crazy-times-two fallout would be on them to clean up. Hardison and Barry just put their heads in their hands and tried not to weep. And Sophie and Madeleine were smiling at the two women, who were gazing at each other lovingly as they packed the explosives, as if they were the most adorable young couple in the world.

Date: 2009-09-26 06:33 pm (UTC)John didn't respond right away, just concentrated on pulling on his boots and lacing them up. The club they were going to was very exclusive. And very specific about following the dress code. He hated going barefoot, so the six inch high heeled ballet boots it was. Black leather boots with silver locks, a perfect match to his corset and collar. "Tighten the stays?" he asked finally, standing up straight and turning to give Cam better access to his back.
"Can't say I'm sorry no one else knows," Cam said, working on the corset, getting it to that ridiculously tight state they both loved. "Be a crime to have you sent packing out of the SGC." He ran a finger along the edge of John's collar, laughing at the involuntary shudder he got in response. "Wouldn't want you anywhere else but at the end of my leash."

Ronon followed John's fingers with his eyes, noting the way they drifted from mended cuts to stains to worn patches in the leather shirt. He chuckled, pulling on the new shirt that Teyla's people had made for him. John didn't look up. Ronon came and sat behind him on the bed, pulling John into his arms.
"We can keep it," Ronon offered.
"Don't have to," John said, his expression blank. His voice was grateful. His hands clutched the old stained shirt.
"It's okay," Ronon murmured into John's ear. "We'll make memories with this shirt too."

"Last I checked cakes don't...lean, and they don't sink down in the middle," Logan chuckled. "If you're looking to poison me there are easier ways."
"Just eat the damn cake," Veronica exclaimed.
Grabbing his fork Logan made a dramatic show of taking bite of the cake. When he mimed choking Veronica slugged his shoulder and walked away, vowing to never bake him another birthday cake as long as she lived.

Date: 2009-09-15 12:55 am (UTC)To be fair, it was entirely what had drawn her to Tony Stark in the first place. No matter what anyone else thought of the "playboy," Pepper knew exactly the kind of brain power that lurked behind that smirking playboy smile.
But Pepper couldn't deny the fact that it wasn't at all the package beneath Iron Man's helmet that made her breathe hitch when she walked in on him at the end of a long day in his lab.
She was as shallow as the grease was thick on the hands that slid up her skirt. And Pepper had always been the kind of girl who liked having Tony Stark's hands up her skirt, covered in grease or not.

Date: 2009-10-30 12:07 pm (UTC)"Well, not in so many words, but I *know* you, Daniel!"
"Well, but it's good that it's me, because, well, you know, the mud goes *everywhere*."
"I know! I've been helping you clean it for the past hour, haven't I?"
"I know."
A grin.
"Is it itchy? The mud? You, poster boy of allergies."
"Yeah, even after all the scratching."
"Want me to help you scratch your itch some more?"
"In there?"
"If you want."
"I want. Of course I want! Haven't I been telling you that for the past hour?"
"This mud is making you rather, uh you know..."
"You're *complaining*?"
"Did you hear me complain?"
Raised eyebrow.
"You know, Daniel..." --shift, shove, lift, *OH!*-- "Another one of those reports that I'm going to have problems writing."

er... sorry if it comes out weird :D

Date: 2009-09-13 06:32 pm (UTC)"'m fine," Eliot said.
It sounded more like a mumble so Nate opened the door to check on Eliot. He hated this part of Eliot's job. He hated the way that Eliot got hurt, the bandages that so often covered his body. Eliot didn't seem to mind it but it drove Nate crazy seeing the hitter hurt.
"Wha?" Eliot asked, a bandage drooping from his lips as he wrapped his elbow.
He had bruises all over his arms and stomach. There was one big bandage on his shoulder where someone had pulled a knife. He had a black eye blooming. His bottom lip was split too. Nate firmly contained the moan that wanted to break out. Eliot's eyes smiled at Nate, his expression sympathetic and slightly amused.
"Sure you don't need a second pair of hands?" Nate offered.
"Sure," Eliot said around the bandage. He shrugged a shoulder, inviting Nate in.
Nate took the wrap, finishing the job of securing Eliot's elbow. Eliot took the bandage from his lips, leaning over to kiss Nate gently.
"Thanks."

Date: 2009-09-04 02:14 am (UTC)"Whoa, what happened to you?" Eliot asked, peeking around the corner from the kitchen to where Alec was standing.
"What do you think?" Alec asked, huffing.
Orange soda dripped off of Alec's nose. It had soaked his shirt front and sleeves. His shoes were wet with it. There was a puddle under him and almost no soda left in the can. Eliot had the nerve to start snickering. He licked his lips, opened his mouth, looked at Alec and then laughed harder. Alec glared at him, dripping orange soda everywhere.
"Man, this is not funny," Alec snarled.
"Want me to help clean that up?" Eliot asked, grinning at him.
"Yes! Is that even a question?"
Eliot stepped over and leaned in, delicately licking a drop of orange soda off of Alec's lips. He kissed another drop away, using his lips to gently clean the soda from Alec's skin. Alec reached for him but Eliot backed off grinning.
"Oh no," Eliot said, pointing for the bathroom. "Shower."
"Eliot," Alec complained.
"Huh-uh," Eliot said, his lips twitching. "Go get the soda off. You're all sticky."
Alec grumbled, shoving the nearly empty soda at Eliot who took it with two fingers. He squelched off to the bathroom, leaving orange soda footprints. Alec didn't bother putting his clothes in the sink. It was his damned apartment. He'd leave the clothes where he wanted and he wanted them on the floor. Probably ruined anyway. He grumbled as he got into the shower, more than a little annoyed that he was alone in the shower and that Eliot wasn't there to do something about the hard on he'd caused.
"Need someone to scrub your back?" Eliot asked, appearing outside the shower door.
"Thought you had something better to do," Alec said, glaring at him him.
"Just had to turn the burner down," Eliot said, pulling off his shirt.
"Yeah, I could use a hand," Alec said, his flagging erection coming back.
"Good."
Eliot slipped into the shower with him, nuzzling the mix of water and orange soda off of Alec's ear. Alec groaned, pressing back against him.
"You better not have shook that can just to get me in the shower," Alec moaned as Eliot's hands ghosted over his chest and down to his groin.
"Of course not," Eliot said as he started stroking. "Might have been Parker. Or just a bad can. Want more?"
"Yes!"
"Good. You got it."

Date: 2009-09-12 11:17 am (UTC)She was glad that he'd gotten the message after the argument they'd had about the car. They'd gone to Weevil's uncle and Logan spotted a stolen SUV that would have cost him thousands of dollars. It had taken a long time to persuade him that he shouldn't waste his money and just buy a black Honda Civic, which was less expensive and less conspicuous. He'd spent the entire trip complaining about it: the smell, the way it drove, the absence of whatever options he was used to in his Range Rover... By the time they arrived, Veronica was almost itching to hand him over to Gorya Sorokin. But now he was done sulking, and Veronica was very relieved about it.
"How long do you think I'll have to stay here?" he asked.
"I don't know. I'll try to get him to back off as soon as possible. In the meantime, please don't do anything stupid?"
"I'm not an idiot," he huffed, and Veronica rolled her eyes.
"Promise?" she insisted.
"Oh, all right. I promise."
"Call me if you need anything, or if you see anything suspicious."
"Will do. Is it true that you found a corpse in that ice machine?" he asked, pointing out to the device out of the window.
"Yeah," she answered. "Not one of my best memories."
"I guess not. Let's hope I won't end up there," he said with a shiver.
"All right," said Veronica, picking up her bag. "I'd better leave now if I still want to get anything done today."
"Right," he said with a sardonic smile. "Give my love to Piz."
Veronica turned around to look at him.
"Piz and I broke up," she said. "It wasn't working out," she added with a shrug.
He nodded, keeping his expression as neutral as possible, and opened the door for her.
"Take care of yourself, okay?" he said. "You don't have to do everything on your own, you know."
"Yeah, I guess I had to learn that one the hard way."
"And don't be too hard on yourself. Veronica, you've helped so many people the last three years, I think you're entitled to a little screw-up for once. In the long run, it's nothing compared to all the good you've done."
"Thanks, Logan. I'll try to keep that in mind."
She didn't quite know what to say.
"Anyway, better get going," she babbled. "Those books won't put themselves back on the shelves."
"Take care, Veronica."
"Take care, Logan. And don't use your credit card."
"I won't."
He smiled and waved at her as she drove off. She felt an incredible sadness at leaving Logan alone in this godforsaken motel in this godforsaken town. But at least here he would be safe. That was the important thing. Whatever her feelings on the matter were wasn't.
