Monday Fun with: Drabbles

Hello, everyone. I’m prisca1960 and I will be your host this week. Let's start with one of my favorite themes: Drabbles. That means your fic should be exactly 100 words or the multiple of it. 200, 500 or 1000 words ... just go wild and have fun.

Here are a few rules:
No more than five prompts in a row.
No more than three prompts in the same fandom.
Use the character's full names and fandom's full name for ease adding to the Lonely Prompts spreadsheet.
No spoilers in prompts for a month after airing, or use the spoiler cut option found here.
If your fill contains spoilers, warn and leave plenty of space, or use the above mentioned spoiler cut.

Logan, of course, sees through it. Smirks. "Dunno, detective. Sure looks like a piece of paper."

"It has writing on it. Your writing."

Logan shrugs. "Well, in times past, that used to be known as a letter. I know you kids are unfamiliar-"

"Logan!"

"I was trying to be romantic, okay!" A hopeful look. "Did it work?"

A lifetime ago, Ben believed in fairytale wishes. He was young and didn’t know better.

Since then he believes and devotes himself to the Blue Lady; follows the path she set for him. He has faith; knows she can grant him wishes. When she does it’s a precious gift that doesn’t come frivolously. He has to be disciplined, to sacrifice. Otherwise those wishes are nothing more than a child’s fantasy. He’s not a child. Manticore killed that part of him years ago.

To save his siblings from Manticore, Ben knows his mission in life is: to sacrifice by paying tribute.

The rest of the League are boarding the Javelin when something catches Wally's eye. He figures he has a few minutes, what the heck?

But as he presents his find to Batman, it starts to dawn on him what an epically bad idea this is.

'It's a flower,' He explains again, 'for you.'

Batman continues to stare at Wally like he's grown six heads. Which is a little unfair, considering that they're dating. People who are dating give each other flowers, it's even thought to be romantic in some circles.

The flower in question is blue with small petals, and was all by it's lonesome amongst the rubble. Wally was sure it'd perish, exposed to the elements....

The hatch is open--Batman was conferring with Superman beside the ramp when Wally came up to him, because Wally's a masochist and needed witnesses to his humiliation--Wally can just make out the red tips of Wonder Woman's boots from inside the Javelin. He hopes she isn't watching too.

Time slows to an agonizing stop around him, what the hell was he thinking? Bruce wouldn't want a flower--especially one that had clumps of dirt clinging to the bottom. He's Batman for crying out loud--Oh, god he probably picked a weed!

Then at a hesitant, glacial pace Batman takes the flower, inspecting it for a moment before nodding at Wally with a gruff, 'Thanks.'

'Sure, no problem,' Wally says, feeling his cheeks heat.

And since he can't stand to see Superman hiding that grin behind his hand for a second longer-- he boards the Javelin yelling, okayreadytogohomenow?

Wally runs passed them, speed rustling their capes. There's almost a full minute of silence that follows in his wake--Clark turns to Bruce, looking him over.

'You're smiling,' He declares, amused.

'Shut-up.'

The sheets at the bottom of the mattress are a mess, half of them already on the floor. Tim spreads his legs to give him more room as he settles between them. Conner kisses his way down Tim's chest, can feel his muscles quivering. He stops by Tim's belly button, alternating between kissing and licking the skin there. Tim squirms, and Conner can tell before Tim's laughter reaches his ears. "Tickles," he says breathless and giggling.

"Not what I was going for," Conner answers trying to sound serious but laughs instead.

"Stop the navel-gazing, Superboy and resume your travel down."

Dean gave his brother a flat look before stating the obvious. "He's a ghost."

"Being a ghost doesn't automatically make him evil," Sam explained.

"I've never met a friendly ghost. Sure, some are less hostile than others, but overall, the longer they stay the more 'evil' they get. Not their faults. Nature is what it is. They go over on their own or we dust them."

"Well, you can't dust this ghost," he grumbled at his brother.

Dean snorted. "Let him cross my path."

"Why are we even having this argument?"

"Because Casper is not a friendly ghost."

"Oi, I was serious. You asked what I would do if I was suddenly attracted to an annoying human. I would bite him and make him my childe. This way I could make him stop being annoying and could bugger him as I please."

"Where did I go wrong with you?"

"Dru would agree with my plan."
