Hello, everyone. I’m oh_mcgee and today's theme is blood. Prompts can be anything related to the them, such as vampirism, being related by blood, someone bleeding out from an injury, giving blood, go wild!

Just a few rules:
No more than five prompts in a row.
No more than three prompts in the same fandom.
Use the character's full names and fandom's full name for ease adding to the Lonely Prompts spreadsheet.
No spoilers in prompts for a month after airing, or use the spoiler cut option found here.
If your fill contains spoilers, warn and leave plenty of space, or use the spoiler cut.
If there are possible triggers in your story, please warn for them in the subject line!

Narcissa sits in front of her mirror and looks at herself, tries to sort her thoughts. So much has happened these days, and the voice of her mother echoes through her mind.

“You have to take the offer, Narcissa, there won’t be a better partie than Lucius Malfoy.”

The blonde sighs as another voice mingles into this.

“You don’t love him, Narcissa. You should stay here, with me, with the one who loves you.”

Ghostly fingers caress her skin and Narcissa closes her eyes as phantom lips nibble at her flesh. A sigh escapes her lips.

“You know you love me, too.”

“You have to marry, Narcissa.”

“No, we’re sisters, we have to stick together, my dear.”

“Marry a Malfoy and honor the family.”

“Stay with me.”

“Narcissa, stay with me.”

The blonde’s eyes fly open and she sees the face of Bellatrix in the mirror, her wild hair touching Narcissa’s cheek as she bends over and whispers: “You’ll always stay with me, won’t you, love?”

Narcissa smiles and says: “Of course I will." She turns around and looks into Bellatrix' hazel eyes who always manage to bore right into her soul. "I love my sister more than anything in this life."

David is glad that his soulmate is a witch, because he's not sure he could handle these conversations very often.

Ash, Delos, Quinn, Thierry, Morgead, and James are sitting around a table, playing poker (No telepathy allowed!) and drinking (wine for Delos and Thierry, beer for everyone else).

David, Mark, and Eric are there, ostensibly for Male Bonding in Circle Daybreak. Galen is missing. David's not sure if it's because Galen is basically Shapeshifter royalty and has princely things to do, or because Galen is not a vampire.

David and Eric are neither vampires nor witches, are lowly humans, and it's a bit disconcerting, having Poker Night with a bunch of people David knows typically view him, Mark, and Eric as, if not actual food, then sources of sustenance.

It doesn't help that their conversation is macabre.

"So, be straight with me," Morgead says, "twins. Taste the same, or not the same?"

"Same," James says without looking up from his cards.

"It depends," Delos begins, and Ash throws a straw wrapper at him.

"Don't be such a lawyer," Ash says, and Delos hisses at him. He sound like an actual cat when he does that. Delos was raised in a hidden castle somewhere in the mountains in Washington like an actual medieval prince, so he's a bit of a renaissance man and probably has some lawyer skills in him.

"It's true," Quinn says. "Twins raised together taste the same. Twins separated at birth -"

"Hang on," Mark says. "You've fed on twins separated at birth?" Mark is human but his soulmate is a vampire and he wants to make the Change before he turns twenty-one in a couple of years. David thinks he's crazy.

"I have been around for four centuries." Quinn flicks a glance at Mark, then studies his cards intently.

"All blood tastes the same," Thierry says dismissively.

"You're just sour because you never wanted to be a vampire." Delos's tone is equally dismissive.

"I have been alive for millennia," Thierry said. "All humans taste the same."

Eric frowns. "Our sense of taste is mostly dominated by our sense of smell. So, shouldn't people who smell different taste different?"

The vampires fix him with a look, as if just remembering his presence.

Eric smiles and pushes some chips across the table. "Raise."

He's canny. David admires his gumption. He's been watching too many black and white movies with Gillian.

"Do different blood types taste different, do you think?" Morgead asks.

"No," Thierry says.

"Depends," Delos says.

A Song of Ice and Fire, Arthur Dayne/Elia Martell & Rhaenys Targaryen, It is said that when Rhaegar and Elia presented Rhaenys to Aerys, he said "she smells Dornish." "The Captain is correct," a dry Vulcan voice interrupted, slipping into the conversation smoothly. "Such a reaction to dried blood, but not the visceral nature of fresh, is illogical."

McCoy looked from Spock to Kirk. "Well, if you feel so strongly about it...now I'm SURE dried blood is worse!"

Dad never liked having Millie along, because he was old-fashioned and a little sexist and didn't think girls ought to hunt (but he'd never dared say that to Ellen Harvelle's face). Also, she was his baby, and he wanted to protect her.

Then Sam ran away for Stanford, and suddenly Dad needed someone to fill Sam's place.

No one could replace Sam's single-minded focus, his attention to detail, his startling recall. But Millie had Dean's green eyes and Dad's steady hands and her mama's smooth dark skin, and with the right tilt of her head, with the right Spanish lilt to her words, she looked like easy pickings, like a kid no one would miss.

Millie also had Sam's uncanny skill with a knife, and nothing got past her. Ever.

And then Dad went missing and Dean sent Millie to collect Sam, because Sam had always had a soft spot for her, had tried to lure her to Stanford with him, but she'd been afraid to leave the fold.

She wasn't afraid of anything now, so when they hit the road, it was with Dean at the wheel and Sam at the window and Millie running the music, because driver picked the music, shotgun shut his cakehole, but ladies first, bitches.
