Travel Monday
Sep. 19th, 2016 06:47 amHello, everyone. I’m
fabrisse and today's theme is Travel. Prompts can be a short break from daily life, a permanent move to a new location, a vacation, or travel for work.
Just a few rules:
No more than five prompts in a row.
No more than three prompts in the same fandom.
Use the character's full names and fandom's full name for ease adding to the Lonely Prompts spreadsheet.
No spoilers in prompts for a month after airing, or use the spoiler cut option found here.
If your fill contains spoilers, warn and leave plenty of space, or use the spoiler cut.
If there are possible triggers in your story, please warn for them in the subject line!
Prompts should be formatted as follows: [Use the character's full names and fandom's full name]
Fandom, Character +/ Character, Prompt
Some examples to get the ball rolling...
Kingsman: The Secret Service, Gary “Eggsy” Unwin/Merlin, what really happened that week in the Kalahari?
Glee, Kurt Hummel + Mercedes Jones, What could be better than starring in a London show? Starring in it with your best friend.
Now You See Me Movies, Any, preparing for a new show and a new mark in a foreign country is always a challenge. Kyoto is a nightmare.
We use AO3 to bookmark filled prompts. If you fill a prompt and post it to AO3 please add it to the Bite Sized Bits of Fic from 2016 collection. See further notes on this new option here.
Not feeling any of today’s prompts? Check out Lonely Prompts Spreadsheet 1 (not very current), Lonely Prompts Spreadsheet 2, or the Calendar Archives, or for more recent prompts, you can use LJ's advanced search options to find prompts to request and/or fill.
While the Lonely Prompts Spreadsheets and LJ's advanced search options are available, bookmarking the links of prompts you like might work better for searching for in the future.

Date: 2016-09-19 12:12 pm (UTC)I pulled into Nazareth, I was feelin' about half past dead
I just need some place where I can lay my head
"Hey, mister, can you tell me where a man might find a bed?"
He just grinned and shook my hand and, "No", was all he said

“That’s what you said about your current job.”
“I know. And it was then, but it isn’t any more.”
“We haven’t been here long.”
“Yes, I had hoped we’d be here for a few more years, but I can’t stay.”
“I’ve started making friends. And people have finally stopped asking where we’re from.”
“I’m truly sorry, Abe,” Henry Morgan sighed. “I recognised the new surgeon and it won’t be long before he realises who I am.”
