“Wow!” Ren started as he walked into Hux’s office, “Is the First Order budget that low that we’ve gotta use candlelight?”

He simply wanted to enjoy the candlelight but he wasn’t about to explain that to Ren; he wouldn’t understand anyway. He seized the opportunity to have a go at the whiny perpetual child.

Hux sighed, “The First Order budget wouldn’t be so low if you didn’t have a paddy every 5 minutes!”

“I-” Ren began, but was immediately cut off by Hux.

“These things don’t just magically reappear fixed!” Ren regretted walking in. Hux continued his rant as Ren looked down. Finally Hux’s rant was coming to an end.

“And stop walking in! At least knock!”

Ren mumbled something barely audible.

“What did you want?” Hux asked with a touch of genuine curiosity.

“Erm. . . “ Ren started. Hux stares at him blankly. “It. . . It doesn’t matter now!” He said quickly and ran off almost as quickly.
