Good afternoon, my darlings, I am classics_lover and I am your guest host this week :) Today's theme is Song Titles. Prompts must use the titles of songs to inspire fillers :D

Just a few rules:
No more than five prompts in a row.
No more than three prompts in the same fandom.
Use the character's full names and fandom's full name for ease adding to the Lonely Prompts spreadsheet.
No spoilers in prompts for a month after airing, or use the spoiler cut option found here.
If your fill contains spoilers, warn and leave plenty of space, or use the spoiler cut.
If there are possible triggers in your story, please warn for them in the subject line!

"Listen, Star Boy," Kolya began.

John sighed. "It's Star Lord." He gestured at himself with his blaster pistol. "Does no one recognize me?"

The pretty, blond, blue-eyed man who was bound to a pipe in the corner tugged at his bonds meaningfully. "I'll recognize you better if you actually succeed in rescuing me."

Teyla, who wore an expression of supreme patience but would probably be flushed with anger if her skin weren't green, said, "John, now is not the time."

Ronon, who towered over all of them, arms crossed over his chest, said, "Now is the time to rescue the bounty if we wish to receive the reward."

Lorne twitched his furry ears, kept his giant plasma gun trained on Kolya. "We really, really have to work on your idioms."

"I work hard on my idioms," Ronon protested, his voice a deep rumble that made Kolya flinch. "What's up, Doc?"

Teal'c said, unhelpfully, "Teal'c."

"Fine. You don't recognize me now. Whatever. You'll be remembering me for a good long time after I bust a cap in your ass." John aimed his pistol at Kolya again. "So, let the, er -" He squinted at the bounty poster. "Good Dr. McKay go - you're a doctor? Wow, you're so young."

"I'm a genius," the man snapped.

"Let Dr. McKay go and I won't have to kill you," John said. He smirked at Kolya.

"If anyone's going to be doing any killing today," Kolya said, "it's me."

John sighed again. "Lorne, hit it."

Lorne pressed a button on the wrist cuff of his tac armor, and Johnny Cash strains filled the bunker.

John tugged his goggles into place and opened fire.

“Jesus H. Christ,” Lorne looked between the two teams, “What the hell happened out there?”

John giggled.

(Rodney was clinging to his brother like a limpet, laughing at the giggling, and Evan half-suspected that when John decided enough was enough and tried to pull away, Rodney would wind up in a heap on the floor.)

“Ceremonial dancing,” Johanssen answered.

“And that explains this, because...”

“Because it takes place in a state of altered euphoria.”

Altered euphoria, the term the SGC had long told the teams to use instead of saying 'hallucinogens' or 'extreme drunkenness'.

Evan groaned: just great, not a single one of the boys ever came down pleasantly from their highs. “Someone call medical. Alert the docs that they're going to need Nurse Alexander. Or a dance floor.”

Jensen is starting to regret this. Actually, he already knew this was a bad idea six seconds ago, and now that his boyfriend is holding a tiny, puffy, black ball of fluff with a cute face and wittle paws, Jensen’s thoughts are confirmed. He never should have followed Jared into the pet store.

He is now making grabby hands for the black ball of fluff held in his lover's arms, wanting to cuddle the little puppy and coo at him like a little baby. Jared is grinning like a fool as he hands the mutt over, already knowing Jensen is love-trapped. They already have a herd of dogs at home, but what is one more little fluff ball? They have a lot of love and a big house, they could give this puppy a home, sweet home.

The puppy nuzzles Jensen’s chest and yips happily before bathing him in a sea of puppy kisses. Jensen sort of smiles, smirking really, as his fingers brush behind the puppy's ear, his fingers touching soft and soothing, scratching a special spot that makes the little mutt pant happily and wag her tail.

When Jensen tucked the puppy to his chest and heads for the counter, already reaching for his wallet, Jared says not one word. He is too busy grinning.

"Have I told you lately that I love you?" Steve asks.

Danny glances over at Steve from the adjacent beach chair on the lanai. He smirks but avoids laughing at the absolutely besotted expression on Steve's face.

Danny taps his chin and pretends to think. "I think you might have mentioned that once or twice. But not since yesterday."

"Well, that's been way too long, then. Obviously."

Danny turns back to face the ocean view and holds out his hand. Steve immediately takes it.

Steve interlaces their fingers, and his thumb traces swirling patterns over the back of Danny's hand. "I do, you know. Love you. More than I know how to say. There's nobody else for me."

Steve is staring at him like the entire universe is in his eyes. Danny grins, feeling warmer inside than he ever could from the tropical weather surrounding them.

"Love you too, babe."

Samandriel leaned over the edge of the small boat, trailing his fingertips in the water, watching it ripple around him. Benny, manning the outboard motor, couldn't look away from him. Samandriel was just a slender kid, bright-eyed, freckled, wearing a ratty hoody and jeans that were frayed at the cuffs, scuffed and stained sneakers. But Benny was sure, if he looked hard enough, he'd be able to see Samandriel's wings.

"Is it true, then?" Benny asked. "All of it? Angels and Demons and - God? Is that the universe?"

"Angels," Samandriel said, resting his chin in one hand and tracing swirling patterns on the surface of the waves with the other, "are single drops. As are demons, and people, and gods."

"Gods," Benny echoed. He'd been raised good Creole Catholic, even if he'd never been devout.

Samandriel's smile was small, secretive. "And goddesses."

Finally, Benny asked, "Why did you save me?"

Samandriel straightened up, leaned in, and drew Benny in for a kiss. He trailed droplets of seawater in Benny's hair, and that was answer enough.
