Hello, and merry Monday! I will be your hostess for the week, and I am 4bdnsn0wflake. I hope everyone has a fun and inspired time over the next five days.

Today’s theme is 25 Words. Prompts can be anything, but fills should be 25 words in length. (Multiples of 25 are okay, too.)

Just a few rules:
No more than five prompts in a row.
No more than three prompts in the same fandom.
Use the character's full names and fandom's full name for ease adding to the Lonely Prompts spreadsheet.
No spoilers in prompts for a month after airing, or use the spoiler cut option found here.
If your fill contains spoilers, warn and leave plenty of space, or use the spoiler cut.
If there are possible triggers in your story, please warn for them in the subject line!

She'd seen the deserts. She knew how they could dry a man to his core without water, so much so that the longing for moisture could drive people mad.

Waiting at home for Edward was like that for her, the longing, the worry, threatening to overcome her just like a desperate man blindly crawling through the sand for an imaginary oasis.

For her, the madness would often come in the form of anger, both at him for leaving her alone just when he had a chance to come back home for good, as well as herself for allowing him that much control over her emotions.

But she'd made a choice a long time ago to love the infuriating boy, and accept the resulting consequences.

Then came the morning she saw his form approaching her home and she knew just how that man felt when the water finally touched his lips.
