I'm simplyn2deep and I'm back again with today's theme of Episode Titles. Simply take the title of an episode from any televised series and apply it to a different fandom. If you can, please add in parenthesis the original fandom it comes from.

Just a few rules:
No more than five prompts in a row.
No more than three prompts in the same fandom.
Use the character's full names and fandom's full name for ease adding to the Lonely Prompts spreadsheet.
No spoilers in prompts for a month after airing, or use the spoiler cut option found here.
If your fill contains spoilers, warn and leave plenty of space, or use the above mentioned spoiler cut.

Sam had been the one to take the call that changed their lives. Dean watched as Sammy sank down onto the floor. This can't be good. What the hell had Sammy in such a state? Dean stood, looking at his brother as tears rolled down his cheeks. His brows furrowed, trying to figure out the problem. Sam was usually calm, right now he was a wreck and that wasn't like him. Finally, with Dean's help he got to his feet.

"Sammy, what the hell? You're scaring me." Sam's mouth opened and closed several times, trying to find the right words. There was no delicate way to tell Dean. He decided to rip the band aid off, no warning.

"There was a car accident. It's Dad, he's, he's dead."

"The hell he is!" It was more of a roar coming from Dean than actual words. "Where, Sammy, where is he?"

"California, Lassen County. He was going up to work a case at Secret Manor, an old abandoned brothel. The guy said there was possible alcohol involved and two others are dead."

"Get your shit together, we head out in ten." Not waiting for a response Dean stormed off, grabbing things to pack as he went about the hunter's cabin they were staying at. Dean was ready in less than five minutes, choosing to wait for Sam at the car.

Sam knew this was going to be bad. Dean was quiet, not yelling, not hitting anything. Grabbing his duffel bag, he joined Dean. He barely had time to get his long legs into the car before Dean was gunning the engine, throwing it into drive. He looked over at Dean, his jaw set in a hard line. Yeah, this was bad.

"Do you know where we're headed?" Dean just huffed at him and floored it. Sam was pretty sure he was gonna end up with whiplash before they got there, where ever the hell there was. He reached into the glove box and grabbed a map. Yeah, they had GPS, but he felt like he needed to do something. Comparing the map to the GPS, he estimated the drive would take around fifteen hours. With Dean's mood and him at the wheel, they'd probably be there in seven.

Three hours passed in silence. Dean suddenly slammed his hand against the steering wheel. "That stupid Son of a Bitch. This wasn't the way it was supped to happen . . ." His words trailed off. Sam looked out the window at the passing stretch of trees. He couldn't look at Dean. He'd loose his shit again if he did. He knew Dean was barely holding it together. He leaned his head against the window, feeling the coolness against his burning skin. Closing his eyes, he let the movement of the Impala lull him to sleep. Maybe, this was all a really bad dream was his last thought.

He woke with a start, not knowing where his was. Yeah, the Impala. But, they were stopped and Dean was gone. Looking around he noticed the Gas 'N Sip before him. Dean must be making a pit stop. He got out to stretch his legs. He was stiff from being cramped for so long. Dean emerged from the store, bag in hand. Tossing the bag to Sam he walked to his side of the car, slamming the door. Sam hissed at the sound. Dean never treated his baby like this.

"Sometime today princess." Sam had to force himself to suppress the eye roll that he so desperately wanted to give. But, Dean would probably lay him out flat right now. Getting back in he turned to Dean. "Where are we? Want me to drive?"

Dean scoffed at the offer. "Like I'd let you drive. We're about five hours out." Great, he was going to be a joy to be with for another five hours.

SHOCK & DENIAL-It is not real. It’s just a terrible, horrible nightmarish nightmare. Numbed disbelief sets in his bones while denying the reality that has come to pass. His body attempts to protect him, the shock provides emotional protection from being overwhelmed by the knowledge that his lover has passed away.

PAIN & GUILT-The shook wears off quickly, hitting him like a rush of icy cold water to be replaced with suffering of unbelievable pain. His bones feel like they are breaking, his heart shatters into tiny pieces, the very oxygen in his lungs burn like ash and smoke. The overwhelming hurt is excruciating and unbearable as he begins to blame himself for Zero’s death. ‘If only he had been more cautions, stopped just a little longer at that stop sign. If only he had just waited a few more moment…’

ANGER & BARGAINING-He screams out into the midnight sky, frustration gives way to anger as the angles ignore his pled for mercy. He lashes out at god, cursing him for not saving the man he loves, the tears trickling down his cheeks as his heart aches.

DEPRESSION, REFLECTION, LONELINESS-He hasn’t left his bed in three days, although his friends tell him it’s best to return to everyday life. He doesn’t sleep much, barely eats, and days soon become weeks as a long period of sad reflection overtakes him. He isolates, turning his back on family and friends who care so dearly for him. He wants to smile but cannot for the feelings of emptiness and despair tangled in his heart.

THE UPWARD TURN-A sunny day greets Jude, and he finds the strength to leave the house; not very far, only to a little park where he and Zero use to play ball. He cries, and laughs, as many fond memories of his time with the man he loves come to mind. Little by little, Jude begins to readjust to life; it is a slow process, but he takes baby steps, remembering each day that Zero is not truly gone since he is in his heart, smiling and laughing and full of joy.

ACCEPTANCE & HOPE-He cannot change the past, but he can make a wonderful future with his friends and family. He learns to accept and deal with the sadness of losing someone he loves, while hoping for the day—many, many years from now—when he will see Zero in heaven, waiting for him at the golden gates.
