LONELY PROMPTS WEEK::26 JUNE § DAY 1
Jun. 26th, 2017 03:43 amJune 26-30 is Lonely Prompts Week and it will be a challenge week! Each day will have a different theme for you to base the prompts you fill on.
Monday's Theme: Write as many fills that borrows a bit of dialogue you've overheard in real life.
More Info: You can use a memorable line from years ago, or find a crowd of people to eavesdrop on for a moment.
If you leave a request, please make sure it follows the theme for the day, however, you are more than welcome to fill any lonely prompt and share the fill here. Just let me know so that I can include the totals in a separate list.
Please number your fills when leaving more than one in a comment. This helps me when I'm ready to count them up.
To find those elusive Lonely Prompts, you can rummage around at the Lonely Prompts Spreadsheet, or go into the Calendar Archives, or for more recent prompts, you can use LJ's advanced search options to find prompts to request and/or fill.
To get things going, a few rules that I ask you all to follow.
1. You can only request five prompts to be filled.
2. You can request no more than three prompts from the same fandom.
3. You can, however, fill as many prompts as you'd like!
4. In the subject line, be sure to say whether this is a request or a fill!
5. You must link back to whatever the prompt is in the community logs (whether filling or requesting it be filled), and, if you're filling the prompt, please complete the fill as a response to the original prompt.
6. If you are filling an "any/any" prompt, please let us know what fandom (or, if original, say so!) you're using for the response.
7. If you filled any lonely prompts earlier this week, this is the place to share them!
8. Finally, we now have a community at AO3. If you have an AO3 account, please post your fills there. More information on how to do this is located at this link.

Does Not Follow Theme:
1) Supernatural - Castiel - it's too late to go back
Request
Date: 2017-06-26 05:27 pm (UTC)SPN Dean/Sam Pancakes for breakfast
Date: 2017-06-26 07:26 pm (UTC)Sam turned sideways in his seat to look at Dean. "Where are you taking us to?" He was fighting back the grumpy tone in his voice. It had been late when they got back to the motel from salting and burning a vengeful ghost's bones. And, as much as he hated it when Dean called him sleeping beauty, he did like getting at least eight hours of sleep. He was working on six, at best right now.
Dean's smile widened. "Just wait Sam, it's gonna be like we're in heaven." He watched as Dean reached over and turned on the radio. Led Zeppelin's, Black Dog filling the car. He groaned at the sound hitting his head in what should have been relative quiet in the early morning.
"Really, Dean?" He slumped against the seat, arms crossed. He probably looked like a petulant child, but right now, he didn't give a shit.
"Oh, come on Sam. Stop being such a little bitch." Dean smiled, reaching over and turning the music up. He began to sing along with the song, occasionally slapping his hands against the steering wheel. Sam closed his eyes, grinding his teeth to keep from snapping at his brother.
He only opened them as he felt the car coming to a standstill. Looking around, he noticed they were in the parking lot of Pancake Nirvana. He saw dancing cartoon pancakes decorating the windows. He inwardly groaned, knowing this was not going to be fun for him.
Standing with his hand on the handle to the front door to the restaurant Dean called to him. "Get the lead out Sammy." He had to force his feet to move. He had a feeling he'd rather curl up in the car and starve then follow his brother. But, for the sake of an argument, he grudgingly joined him.
His eyes widened in what some would call horror at what was before him. A buffet of pancakes. All types, buttermilk, potatoe, blueberry, sweet potato and chocolate chip, just to name a few. There were different types of syrups, butter, powdered sugar and other toppings as well. The buffet ended with different types of breakfast meats. Sam made a mental note to kill Dean later, when there were no witnesses.
With a scowl on his face, he joined Dean at the booth he was sitting in. As he slid in, he looked at Dean, eyes narrowed in anger. "We drove an hour for this?"
Sipping his coffee, Dean looked at him. "Awesome, right? All kinds of pancakes. Bacon. Sausage. It's just like the name says, Pancake Nirvana."
Getting up, Dean walked over to the buffet and started loading up a plate. He smiled over at Sam, green eyes dancing in glee at what was before him. He returned with a full plate, chewing a piece of bacon as he sat down.
Sam flagged down the waitress asking for a menu. "Oh, no, sweetie, there's no menu. Only pancakes." She said as she pointed to the buffet and walked away. Dean smiled as he took a bite of pancake covered in butter and syrup.
"Mm, this is really good, you should go get some."
Sam looked across the table at Dean. "I hate you."
