evil_little_dog and today's theme is Self-Help book titles. Prompts must be the title of any self-help book and here are some links to help get you started:

Just a few rules:
No more than five prompts in a row.
No more than three prompts in the same fandom.
Use the character's full names and fandom's full name for ease adding to the Lonely Prompts spreadsheet.
No spoilers in prompts for a month after airing, or use the spoiler cut option found here.
If your fill contains spoilers, warn and leave plenty of space, or use the spoiler cut.
If there are possible triggers in your story, please warn for them in the subject line!

Did one not help oneself every day? Do they not dress themselves? Do they not prepare their own food?
Is that not helping oneself?
Such things confused the prince of Asgard for some time. Many had tried to explain the concept to him, but always fell short.
After weeks of confusion and irritation, it was Hawkeye that finally found a way for Thor to understand.
He gave the prince a book that explained everything about the concept of self-help.
Simply titled 'How To Buy A Self-Help Book'

“I am not--” He hears the petulance in his tone and takes a deep breath. “I’ve had a rough year, what with that whole mess around the Sokovia Accords and finding out the truth about my parents’ deaths. And now it’s that time of year--”
“Okay, so the Accords were a mess. You stopped the signing before General Ross could lock anybody up in that offshore dungeon he wanted to build. You found the assassin who killed King T’Challa’s father--and by ‘you’, I mean the Avengers!” He tries to cut her off, but Pepper in full-out scolding mode is not easily diverted. “You didn’t do it all by yourself! It took all of you, including your friend Steve, who has had your back so many times--”
“Until he stabbed me in it by bringing in that pal of his!” Tony roars back. “You know--the one who murdered my mom and dad?”
“I’ve seen the security tapes,” she counters. “He was as shocked as you were when that Zemo played back the old footage.”
“Because he thought he got away with it!”
“You’ve spent hundreds of hours pouring over the data from SHIELD--is it such a stretch, after reading about some of their tactics that HYDRA was behind that, too? He was their prisoner since before you were born! They conditioned him and ordered him to do it--it certainly wasn’t his idea!”
“I can’t believe you’re on his side!”
“It isn’t a question of sides, Tony. He helped you take down Zemo, remember--and until Zemo showed you that footage, you two were friendly, admit it.”
Tony clenches his teeth. Pepper does not get it. He trusted Barnes because Steve vouched for him--been so absolutely thrilled to see him, in fact, it was kind of cute to watch. And yeah, the man was a helluva fighter. But he was also indisputably the one who’d killed Howard and Maria Stark with his own two hands, and that hadn’t seemed to make a difference to Steve.
“Meanwhile, you’re moping around here, buying over-priced crap you don’t need, never mind that you can afford it, it’s a self-indulgent waste of money--you need to quit whining and do something constructive with your life instead of piddling around building better mousetraps and--”
Pepper isn’t going to run out of steam any time soon. Tony grabs his favorite leather jacket, shrugs it on over his tee shirt and opens the door of the Ferrari. He slides behind the wheel as Pepper gets closer. “Tony, don’t you dare! I’m not through--”
“I am,” he says, peeling rubber to get out of there.
He isn’t even down the driveway when his phone starts to ring. He pulls it out of his jacket pocket, unsurprised to see Pepper’s smiling picture (taken in mellower times) as the caller ID. Without a second thought, he chucks the device out of the car.
Screw her. He’s going to go for a nice, long drive in Magnum’s Ferrari.
