Now that we’ve had our share of pet peeves it’s time to Forgive and Forget
Is your character holding a grudge? Now the time to have them let it go. Give forgiveness or let them receive it. Or give them Amnesia whatever floats your boat.
But remember:
No more than 5 prompts in a row, and no more than 3 prompts per fandom. If one of your prompts is answered, you can prompt again.
No spoilers in your prompts for at least one week after publication/air date. If there are spoilers in your story, you must warn in bold and leave at least 3 spaces.
And use the correct formatting. Examples:
Being Human, Goerge/Mitchell, After a full moon George feels guilty and Mitchell helps him forgive himself
Marvel, Deadpool/author's choice, It's all in the past....right?
Being Human/Torchwood, Jack/Mitchell, “Did you forget me so soon?”

They had never been able to stay away from each other.
So when he had looked in her mother's case (and found a clue she had missed, goddammit), at first she had gotten pissed at him. Really, truly mad. But when he said sorry, she felt her resolve weaken. She couldn't stay mad at him for long anyway, and now that he truly regretted it (and told her so, too) it was near impossible.
And it wasn't like she didn't try. But oh God, it took so much of her energy. It tired her such a lot, she couldn't do it anymore.
Besides, she needed him. They were almost like two halves of a whole, nearly inseparable. Though she would never ever admit that she was pulled just as badly to him as he was to her.
So in the end, it wasn't really a matter of why she would take him back. It was when. Because without him, life just didn't seem to be as much fun as it did when he was around. And while she also would never admit it, she loved him like he loved her. The only question of why here was why they were still not together.
