Date: 2017-08-13 01:38 am (UTC)Alec shifted, rolling over to face Magnus. He opened his eyes to find Magnus awake and he smiled at him. "Morning."
Magnus smiled, looking into those beautiful blue eyes. He could get lost in them for hours. Alec's eyes shown with the intensity of his love for the man next to him. Magnus felt his breath stutter in his chest as he gazed at his lover. "Morning, sleep well?" Alec was breathtaking. Even lying here, hair tossled, sleep kissed skin, sparkling blue eyes. Magnus counted himself lucky that he was the only one to see Alec like this. Alec was his and he was Alec's.
Alec snaked an arm over Magnus' chest. His fingers ghosting over his skin causing him to shiver at the sensation. He enjoyed the feel of Alec's warmth against him, the weight of his arm on his body. He heard Alec humming in contentment.
"So, do we have any plans for today?" Alec murmured against Magnus' shoulder. He nipped at the skin and then ran his tongue over the sensitive spot he'd created. He felt Alec shift in the bed, sitting up next to him.
Magnus looked up at him. "No, why?" He reached up, running a hand down Alec's arm.
Alec looked down at him before answering him. "I just figured we could relax today. Maybe never leave this bed."
"I like the sound of your idea. It's a very good one." Magnus said with a mischievous smile on his face.
Alec leaned down and kissed Magnus. Feeling Magnus' lips curling into a smile he pulled away. "Stop smiling so I can kiss you." Alec feigned irritation as his lips quirked into a smile.
"I cannot stop smiling because you are kissing me!" Magnus said as he pulled Alec down into a lingering kiss.

Date: 2019-03-29 05:16 pm (UTC)Spock would not sit in her lap as he had seen images of Terran times past, but he did sit so close as to almost touch, leaning over the pages of the oddly large books.
Sarek had frowned on the choice of reading material - strange Terran fictions with often outdated morals - but she had been insistent that she read - herself, and aloud - to their child. He was never asked to participate, this was something between his wife and son.
Though he acknowledged a ping of slight loss, the opportunity to watch his wife at something she enjoyed more than made up for it.
The way her hands turned the pages, sure and delicate at the same time, the way that her voice lilted and took off, with a quality of...warmth that was so rarely found in his world, were qualities he was aware provoked a state in him that was sometimes fantastically called "being mesmerized" but he was better controlled than that.
Amanda had to bite a smile, but she didn't turn her head to let on that she heard her husband shuffle off to answer the subspace communique he had been expecting...half an hour after the time he had set to study the Pickett conference situation.
