Hello! It's me again. Everyone was fabulous yesterday - there were some pretty awesome prompts given and some good fics received.

Today's theme is, because I am an evil, evil person and intend on wasting your whole day, TVTropes. Yes, THAT TVTropes. Always wanted your favorite characters to enact your favorite trope? Have at it! The idea here being to give a fandom, character/pairing/leave it up to the author, and link to a specific trope to be included in the prompt.

Rules: No more than 5 prompts (3 per fandom). After that you may only put up prompts when someone answers one of your previous prompts. If none of the prompts today appeal to you, dig into the Lonely Prompts archive here! There are lots of beautiful prompts waiting for you to write them. The prompts format should be: Fandom, Character/Pairing, prompt.

Possibly Altering Fate, possibly not?

Cissie shifted, biting her lip to keep from wincing in pain when she moved. Her painkillers were wearing off, but she couldn’t take more for another forty-five minutes. Forty-four. Her bed really wasn’t quite big enough for two people, especially when she couldn’t lie on her side and cuddle with Tim the way she usually did when he spent the night with her here at school. At the moment, she was sort of lying partially on top of him while they spooned, or tried to, and she was uncomfortable and the bullet wound in her arm hurt.

She thought she was being quiet, but Tim woke and turned his head to look at her. "Hey. You okay?"

She nodded and gave him a tired smile, trying to reassure him so he would go back to sleep and not question her too much. He worried, and she didn't want him to. Not when there was nothing he could do. "Yeah. Go back to sleep."

Cissie felt him watching her, but she closed her eyes and tried to go back to sleep, hoping he would follow suit. Instead, he began running his fingers through her hair and he pressed his lips to the top of her head. "Your arm hurts?"

Cissie grimaced into his chest and grunted. "I can't take anything yet," she grumbled, giving up. Of course he could tell.

Tim sighed a little. "Are you uncomfortable? I can--"

"No," she snapped, gripping his arm with her good hand. "Just--stay here."

He kissed her head again. "All right. I'm not going anywhere. But you might be more comfortable if I sleep on the flo--"

"Tim," she growled, gritting her teeth. "Just be quiet and stay where you are."

"Poor Cissie," he murmured, rubbing her back. "I'm so sorry you're hurting."

"I know," she sighed. "But you're not blaming yourself, are you?"

He didn't answer right away, which was more than enough answer for her. She moved to lift her head and look at him, which was almost too much movement for her arm to handle. She glared at him, and he made a face. "I'm not," he said quickly. "Not... really."

"Tim."

"Cissie, you were shot in the arm. I wasn't there. I'm sorry, but I'm not exactly thrilled about it."

"But you weren't there, so there was nothing you could do," Cissie pointed out. "And you're here now, and that's what counts."

He frowned at her. "I hate that you're hurt."

She rolled her eyes. "It's just my arm. It's not that serious. It's going to heal."

"Cissie, you were shot through the arm. You can't be this okay with it."

"I can," she said seriously. "Because I'm okay, and you're okay, and everyone involved is okay, and the person who did it is in jail. And now I have you here, in bed with me, taking care of me."

He shook his head. "Can I remember that line the next time I get hurt?"

Cissie wrinkled her nose at him. "No. Tim, I'm still half an hour from being able to take more painkillers. I need you to just be sympathetic right now."

Tim smiled and kissed her nose. "I love you, you know."

"I know. I love you too," she said, putting her head on his chest again. "Now shut up and help me get comfortable before I get cranky."

She so does not have enough pain meds in her system to deal with fretting!Tim. ;)

Aww...so cute. (I have said this a lot today.)

This was a really nice piece of fluff, and I love H/C (as you may have gathered). ;)

But then, I've loved all the fics you wrote yesterday! And no one could compete with the insane 66!!!!! fics someone wrote, but you did an awesome job! :D

(Also, I got an A in program eval. *dances*)

Hee, I NEVER KNEW that about you. ;) I'm glad you liked them all! I had fun writing them anyway. I reeeally need to work on my Yuletide and DOOM fics now, though. :P

I'm glad! :D (Clearly my plan to write again today has failed. Bleh. That stupid dream screwed me up for the whole day.)
