Hi! I’m
brumeier, and this week we’re going to be tackling some daily life themes! Today's theme is DOMESTIC BLISS! Let’s explore the day-to-day things that bring our characters happiness.
Just a few rules:
No more than five prompts in a row.
No more than three prompts in the same fandom.
Use the character's full names and fandom's full name for ease adding to the Lonely Prompts spreadsheet.
No spoilers in prompts for a month after airing, or use the spoiler cut option found here.
If your fill contains spoilers, warn and leave plenty of space, or use the spoiler cut.
If there are possible triggers in your story, please warn for them in the subject line!
Prompts should be formatted as follows: [Use the character's full names and fandom's full name]
Fandom, Character +/ Character, Prompt
Some examples to get the ball rolling...
+ Stargate Atlantis, John Sheppard/Rodney McKay, the best part of the day is coming back together at the end of it
+ Marvel Cinematic Universe, Any, saving the world is good, but working around their house when they have downtime is better
+ Hawaii Five-0, Steve McGarrett/Danny Williams, family game night
+ Any, Any, moving in together
We use AO3 to bookmark filled prompts. If you fill a prompt and post it to AO3 please add it to the Bite Sized Bits of Fic from 2016 collection. See further notes on this new option here.
Not feeling any of today’s prompts? Check out Lonely Prompts Spreadsheet 1 (not very current), Lonely Prompts Spreadsheet 2, or the Calendar Archives, or for more recent prompts, you can use LJ's advanced search options to find prompts to request and/or fill.
While the Lonely Prompts Spreadsheets and LJ's advanced search options are available, bookmarking the links of prompts you like might work better for searching for in the future.

Date: 2017-11-27 06:50 pm (UTC)Shadowhunters, Alec Lightwood/Magnus Bane
Date: 2018-06-20 03:50 am (UTC)Alec nudged him forward. “I know you can… could. But sometimes it’s nice to get out.”
Magnus eyed him. “Do you have an ulterior motive for dragging me to a coffee shop?”
“There was no dragging involved,” Alec responded. “And I didn’t know I required an ulterior motive to spend time with you.”
The warlock twined his fingers with the boy standing next to him. “You work very hard to spend time with me, Alexander. I wasn’t complaining.”
Alec smiled and opened his mouth to reply, but was interrupted by a cheerful voice, calling, “Angus? Alice? Coffees are up!”
The warlock and Shadowhunter exchanged looks and Alec moved over to the counter, making a motion, “Um. I think that’s us?”
She looked at him. “You must be Angus. Which means…” Looking at his companion, she said, “You don’t look much like an Alice.”
“I’m afraid he’s Alice. And I’m Angus. Apparently your cohort couldn’t understand us,” Magnus rescued Alec when the Shadowhunter didn’t seem to know what to say. He handed Alec the cup labeled Alice before dropping money in the tip jar. “Come on, darling.”
“Coming, dear,” Alec replied.
